Kaleta at hospital with neck injury per Ruff's presser...

I'd assume he'll be done for awhile with his history.

He didn't play a shift after, except for that quick shift in OT. Ellis took his place.

You understand they could lose every game this season and he wouldn't get fired until its over at best, right?

Anyone watching Lindy's presser? Talking about Kaleta getting boarded and he just seems numb...doesn't seem that upset about it at all. Lindy 10 years ago is absolutely livid.

He's lost all the fire. Get him out of there

Also -- buddy of mine just said that WGR reported that Kaleta is in the hospital due to a neck issue.

Because Lindy was playing defensively to go to OT, playing not to lose.

I think the only question about all the cringe worthy moments in that winning goal was something like "Quite a spectacular ending, eh?"

Real good reporting guys.

Mental mistakes can't be attributed to the roch. core anymore...that's on him

G
FES starting to click more. Ennis could still be better but Foligno/Staff have stepped it up
Poms' goal
Weber wasn't too bad
Grigs with his first! Great rebound shot
Myers looked a bit better
Sekera's goal was sweet

B
Grigs outside of scoring
Brennan -2 (another reason lindy should be canned, stupid stupid decision to bench sulzer)
Sekera after the goal

U
Kaleta's apparently done for a while
Refs
Miller
Leopold
Line change
Lindy

Lindy is disinterested and it rubs off on the team.

Not sure how Sekera is not mentioned in the bad for the 2nd goal and Grigorenko is. That was more on Sekera in my books as it was still a 2 on 2 before Sekera screwed up.

I'd go with this next game by the way, it'll never happen because Lindy <3 Jordan but:

57-6
10-52
24-44

I know, it's probably true..Lindy could lose 20 in a row and the bosses would make excused for keeping him around.

I'd love to hear his reaction if someone asked, "so, since you benched sulzer for accidentally chipping the puck over the glass last game, what happens to leopold since he gave up on a play with 5 seconds left in OT?"

Can we please trade Leopold immediately? He is terrible. He is turning 33 and has been mediocre his whole time as a Sabre. And Brennan should never suit up for the Sabres again, safe to say he is a bust. Another 1st round bust for master draft expert Darcy Regier ( I know technically Brennan is a 2nd round pick but he was the 31st overall pick, aka the 1st pick in round 2 and also he was our first draft pick that year since we dealt our own first for Zubrus. )
