You do realize if they allowed the goal it would set a horrible precedent? It would happen every shootout.

It was fairly obvious watching the game that it was a bottle. Not many bananas have Boston Bruins logos on them.

I would hope that any rational thinking fan on here would agree with you. But it's idiotic to think that the Boston Garden is only filled with Bruins every night, thus the home team should be punished by idiotic fans. They shouldn't have trouble figuring out who threw it. Punish him, ban him, etc.

Then don't watch him. You live in America right? You have the freedom to choose not to watch him.

I watched center ice and had the option of NESN or NJ broadcast I assume u had the same option.

If you do not like him do not watch him

I want to know if Seguin had missed his first attempt if he would have been allowed to shoot again??

My guess is NO, which is complete bs. The "water bottle" went completely behind the goalie, if anyone was affected it was Seguin.

Valid.

I'd hope the Bruins actively investigate and ban the person. Tossing stuff unprovoked is just lame. The idiots who litter the ice when they don't like a call at least have a reason.

What if he didn't score? Pretty obvious you can't allow that play to stand with something thrown on the ice.

I'd like to know what they would have done if the save was made.

That's what i was saying.. I doubt they would have allowed him to shoot again if the save had been made.

Jack Edwards loves the game, I bet he ripped that fan a new one tonight. Refs did the right thing, even though it didnt affect the play it should be redone. That does not belong in any sport.

The target may have been Hedberg, but I'm not sure how that's relevant. If something is thrown, and they're capable of a mulligan, it would be unjust to allow it for one party and not the other.
