Bah that's a shame to hear.

It's sad because it's gotten to the point that Morrow realistically isn't worth anything that a team would trade for him in their right mind. He just looks like a completely different player than he used to. Crash and bang style looks to have caught up to him in a hurry.

Nah, "future considerations" gets used every now and then. Usually amounts to little more than a 7th, at that.

At this point, though, you're right, the Rangers are better off with the pick.

You do know the Flames only have 2 players that are 35 right? People need new jokes.

I'm normally open to anything, but please no. Let me know when Jagr's available .

A pick is an asset.

If Coach Gulutzan runs Kari Lehtonen into the ground ... which seems like a possibility ... Jagr will be available right after that.

Dallas live and dies by Kari this season.

The only correlation I meant to draw was that if he didn't feel Arnott was out of gas, he likely wouldn't feel Morrow was either. Also, he has a bad history with Arnott, if I'm not mistaken. And I said he'd only be open to trading for Morrow if the cost was minimal. Again, the only correlation was that it's hard to say Morrow is too old or slow or low on gas if we were willing to go with Arnott. It's all about what it would cost, IMO. He's not a player I want, but it's not a move I'd be surprised by.

Morrow isn't even an NHL caliber player anymore. Negative on-ice value. Best case situation if he's on the ice is he doesn't take a penalty. He can't do anything anymore unfortunately. Any team that trades for him is insane.

I just have a feeling he goes to Boston. Not sure if there is even a spot for him; it has worked with some vets in the past.

for sure spot... 3rd line on Boston is really lacking, Chris Bourque is there now, but he is an AHL caliber player and no business in the NHL.

Would LOVE to take a flyer on Morrow to replace Bourque, sign me up!!!
