So happy we won tonight. Just ****ing sucks that we could be 3-2 though. That stupid Winnipeg game is going to take me another few days to get over.

At this point...I'm becoming more and more comfortable with Visnovsky not showing up. Strait and Hickey both look solid...and there's still Martinek.

Nice win! After they took the 4-0 lead they played some very boring hockey, which is exactly what you want to see

Very solid game on whole. Can't really complain about much tonight at all.

Awesome to see the Pens just being so numbed down because their space was constantly being taken away from them.

My takeaways:

- The PK has to be the work of Thompson. It's so suffocating and high-pressure, yet could still handle a four-minute stretch. Great change this season.

- I noticed that much of the team was very heavy on their sticks when playing the puck. Resulted in much better puck control, good separation from defenders and decreased take-aways.

- Grabner is our new superstar. Not because he's fast, or because he's scoring, but because he is important in every situation on the ice.

- They've got to get Okposo off JT's line. He's just not effective and it's dragging JT down. Give Aucoin a chance there.

- I wonder where we'd be right now if the Finley experiment hadn't happened, and Hickey was in the line-up from Day One. Glad to have Hickey aboard.

Everyone played well on the defense and offense but I really don't like Okposo on top line and I'd like to see Boyes instead just my opinion great road win ill be at the Rock Thursday for isles devils lets hope we split the home and home with them this weekend

The biggest difference between the pk last year and pk this year is that this year they are only using two sets of forwards: Grabs/Nielsen and Martin/Reasoner. Last year we used three. I think using only two sets forces them to be a little simpler.

Congrats on the win Isles fans.

I thought Hickey looked pretty good for a rookie and even had a couple of nice plays.

Ciziskas looked solid. Nice goal.

Sure miss Moulson but he is playing pretty well for you guys.

Is it me or does Tavares look just bigger overall this year?

Oh well, congrats again on the win and keep em coming. You remind allot of the Kings three years ago.

don't get too high with the highs or too low with the lows...

we are one loss away from being a "sh*tty" .500 team again....

not trying to be debby downer because i think we look pretty solid but lets also not get ahead of ourselves

lets keep it up though!

Many of you said there was zero chance of Islanders winning this game.

Now what did you say about the Islanders playoff chances?
