Good game, guys (well, the actual game was sloppy, but you know what I mean).

I think the diving call on Prust was pretty bad, but something has to be done about turning your back like that. I don't think the Jets deserved a PP out of that but I don't think the Habs did either. If calls like that are going to get rid of that kind of play (it wasn't him trying to make a play, he saw Antropov coming and turned), then I'm fine with it, especially as it didn't change the result of the game in the end. Otherwise, he is doing exactly what your GM brought him in to do. He's an agitator that a primarily skill-first team like the Habs need.

The reffing was poor on both sides. I think anyone claiming that one team got screwed more than the other is seeing things through homer glasses a bit. The difference was our PK is awful.

Other than that, it was sloppy as I said. Congrats.

Looks like he's been hanging around Jean Perron a little more than he should.

With the confusion of the first line, try eller centering and dd on the wing? We can't move the other lines

Therrien: "There's a fine line with passion and aggressiveness. Passion is something I'm never going to want to take away from my team"

How many times have we heard Coach Mike use the word passion?
How many times have we heard Coach Martin use the word passion?

Kinda gives you an idea how much the philosophy has changed.

I agree on the Prust call...brutal. may have played it up a bit but it was a clear hit from behind. Winnipeg getting a PP on that is a joke...call on Armstrong was just as bad, led with the shoulder all the way, phantom elbow?
Price took a puck off his head in the third, it seemed to wake him up, after he made some very good saves.

Good time to sit Price. A bit of a tough night, and we're playing a fair amount of games in the next little while.

Total confidence in Budaj. Good call by MT. Rest price up, let Budaj get some rhythm. Bring on Ottawa, I wanna see Gallagher burn Karlsson and score!

Plekanec is such a good player. If Galchenyuk can become that big dominating #1 center, having Plek as a 2nd center would be such a great 1-2 punch.

I prefer the older version though. Sort of Like Emelin, "rougher" and more rhythmic.

Eventhough Evander Kane got ragdolled a couple of times tonight, I want to see a Center-Ice Emelinboom sooner or later

That's funny haha I love this anthem too ever since I saw Rocky IV for the first time. But I digress!

Good win! Not pretty but hey, 4 in a row! If you would have told me after the Leafs game we'd win our next four I'd have rolled my eyes skeptically at you, but with a rejuvenated Marky (and thus, a rejuvenated PP), the kids playing well, and our new found grit, here we are.

Now find a way to get PK back into the line up ASAP and keep on rolling boys! BIG test tomorrow with our first back to back, against a really hot goalie in Anderson and a good team in the Sens.

Just imagine how many pts Galchenyuk will put up when he plays regular mins. He's got a point per game playing under 12 mins in almost every game.

Give him time, this is the perfect way to introduce him to the NHL.

I agree in part. We need to keep him in his 'sheltered' minutes so he can continue to produce, but yeah even as soon as next year he's in the top6. What a player, so glad he's proving the doubters wrong about his recovery and development. Gallagher too.

BGally is 20, so he is farther in his development, but like other posters have said, the two have chemistry and the fact that they broke into the big club at the same time should only make that chemistry better as time goes on. Ever since the WJC i've been waiting for gallagher, such a warrior, and so skilled too.

Hats off to Plekanec! I had him dead in the count and I was blinded. What a game.
