Gomez is fast out the box and he's not a good PK'er, he's been damn good in getting the bottom 6 rolling.

He'll score soon. Gotta keep up the 1 goal/year pace.

He assisted and helped screen on the game tying goal and created a nice chance in OT tonight. He's definitely worth the $700,000 cap hit.

Hilarious!

Although he has been getting some good ice time. Nice assist tonight.

Very true. I'm very happy with his play thus far, and it should only get better as he gets more time to gel.

Exactly. He is not a PK'er and he is the guy the coach wants on the ice as soon as the PK is over. Really is more of a compliment than a diss.

Gomez will always look dangerous, he will enter the zone with the puck and make crisp passes, amaze everyone with his speed, but nothng will happen in the end.

And when he'll get the puck back, he won't be able to handle it, fumble it, and lose it.

But if he plays with Couture, something WILL happen in the end. Dude is playing with nobodies. And no one on the 2nd PP unit shoots the puck, so he won't be getting any assists there.

By nothing, you mean the pass/primary assist for the game tying goal, no?

Clowe is usually the guy in the box (since he literally use useless on the PK). At least Gomez has speed. Gomez was in the box that game because Clowe was ejected.

He played very well tonight..
Was very noticable, and creating with Couture.

I'm cheering HARD for him and Redden this yr... and both are rocking it in their new roles.
And both are on sickly high value contracts... so wrong for the league.. but oh so great for them and their teams..

And tonight.. Ryan Clowe served the team penalty for TMM.. heh heh..
EDIT: ^and WTF explains why,,, thanks.

I'm kinda tired of all the jokes around Gomez... He seems to play allright for the Sharks now. Good luck to him. That's it. On HFB he's like what the opposite of Chuck Norris would be. This is getting old.

and with a 700K salary... WTF will people have to start threads on Gomez ever again? The OP was pretty funny... aaaaaaand then?

no one can ever complain about what a 700K player is doing...

Don't worry... the Gomez*lol* threads will soon be extinct.
