Nemo has come to play this year apparently. He's been amazing for 6 games straight, and tonight was his best.
He sure dominated that bench against Colorado.

Seriously though, he's been rock solid all year so far. His rebound control and puck tracking seems to be improved as well.

Marleau didn't score, but he looked engaged all night. That's really all I'm asking for.

This. They seemed like they had a lot of chemistry. Great cycling, always knew where each other were.

I thought Petrecki had some strong shifts towards the end of the game. It was an ugly game..it was bound to happen.

Sharks should have won this game 2-1. The Refs should not dictate games. (Not to take away from the ducks, cause they outplayed the Sharks most of the time). But BS calls by the refs made this game.

Sometimes luck is all you need.

we shall be meeting each other in Shark territory on Feb. 5...naturally the self-serving part of me wants SJ to lose before that...and the Hawks to keep winning.

That said...it can't be denied how exciting that game will be if both our teams go into that game undefeated

Marleau showed some gusto and almost won it in OT.

Disappointed with the play tonight from the team except for Niemi, they looked out of sync and just gassed tonight.

Happy about the W though!

Go Sharks!!!

Yep, he was definitely putting in work tonight. He gave himself a few good chances to score.

Did you see the play where not a single forward came back to take a pass from Petrecki and he just slapped it along the boards? He waited for nearly 10 seconds alone with time running down.

What I mean, is that I thought the forwards were hugely responsible for the horrific breakouts this game. They were not getting open, weren't moving and were cheating out of the zone as soon as the puck seemed to be in possession.

Surprised to see Murray with only 20:49, felt like he was on the ice the for way longer than that.

Wasn't that when the Sharks were already down by a goal? By then they were probably desperate to generate some offense so they had to cheat a little bit, because obviously it wasn't working the way they were trying it earlier. I thought the forwards did a fine job getting open for most of the game but the D would always either handcuff a person on the boards or lose it on the forecheck pressure.

Vlasic was the worst of the night, but Murray was worse than Irwin.

Who was it that said Gomez should never see top 6 minutes?

Felt like almost every offensive chance from a dman was from Braun.

Thought at the very least Gomez should've replaced wingels in the second period, but being able to adjust lines on the fly like that is something new, and that's down to Gomez in the line up.
