**** Minnesota.

And what a dive by Perry. He should get the first star if Ducks win this game.

San Jose announcers said it bounced in off Murray.

Cody Hodgson with a whopping 37.9% in the faceoff dot. I wonder how long the sabres stick with him as their #1 center, doesnt look like he can handle it too well.

who else they have right now? Rookie Grigoranko? Roy is gone. Ennis is not a face off specialist either.

Adam and Ott are other centers they have available unless I'm mistaken. Hecht too I think.

He's getting minutes though at least, so good for him... and his dad.

The biggest difference is that Kassian's line is shooting at 10% or so at ES. He'll just start picking up assists when the goals dry up as the other 4 guys start scoring more. Meanwhile Frattin is running a ridiculous 25% (and that's likely gone up after today's game).

Hodgson is struggling big time now, his first 2 games were a bit shadowed by goals off peoples feet.

Sucks but looks like his skating is still a massive issue.

^ yeah it doesn't help that Vanek is side lined. Him going from 3rd line to 1st line center is a tough jump since he is now matched up against every teams best players now.

Sharks win their 6th straight. CHI + SJS both 6-0 to start the year.

Has anyone else noticed how many times the Sharks' opponents have been hitting posts?

Hodgson brings no unique quality, Schroeder has played well, similar to how Hodgson played in his first season.

It is much easier finding a player like Hodgson than a player like Kassian, as Gillis said it, "It's impossible finding a player like Kassian"

His shot is good but not above any class, there are many, many players with a rocket of a shot. Chad Kilger has the hardest shot in NHL history

Hodgson has elite shots and hands and vision. The only thing he doesn't have is skating, size and strength. Stamkos without skating and size.

Not really a fan of his any more but that still is one of my favorite moments from last year. You can't deny his shot is great.

there isn't many players with snipe skills like Hodgsons though. hard shot? yes. accurate? no. Canucks currently only has Kesler whom i would call a sniper in our line up.

Right, Hodgson is really blowing away the competition with his snipe skills.

His "hands, vision" are nothing unique. His play has fallen off quite dramatically, he's being carried by two players that have double the points he has.
