if he ever ends up playing for us (which seems less and less likely with the season circling the bowl), it'd be nice if he ends up being our new tom preissing. just a real solid bottom pair d-man who stands out at nothing but does a little bit of everything and does it pretty well.
If for no other reason, I hate the lockout if only because we don't have a new season to provide us fodder for new inside jokes / memes, and all our old ones are growing stale.

Maclean was asked today on the radio, he said he's likely 10-20 days away from skating with the team and another 10-20 before he's in the lineup... So 3-6 weeks I guess.

Wow. They originally said 3-4 weeks, which would be ending soon.
I wonder if someone can give me a honest and up to date description of Mike Lundin as a hockeyplayer and defenceman?

Hoping we do not play Lundin just because he has a contract. Borowieck and Wiercioch are doing well and Benoit has not been completely out of place as some thought he might be (size).
Given the really vanilla reports above, I'm not a fan of him replacing one of the above.
