Yea, I voted for Reasoner. Re-watch the game and look for his 1 on 1 play against Crosby, his forechecking, forced turnovers in the neutral zone, and PK. He made a pretty big impact for someone on the 4th line.

Well played, Islanders! Pride in the shirt and effort goes a long way.

The only positive for me as a Penguin fan would be if this causes a reaction from the team or management. Was a tough game to watch.

My first one goes to Grabner, not only for the momentum-defining goal but also because he really is "a one-man wrecking crew on the PK". The second for Nabby because I feel kind of sorry for him that Streit ruined his shutout *g* He didn't really have to stand on his head, but he was rock-solid. Last one goes to Cizikas for his first NHL goal, it was a nice one! And special kudos to the whole D (including defensive work of the forwards), especially the new ones like Strait and Hickey played really well. Reasoner was surprisingly good. Better than Okposo...

I went Nabokov...Pittsburgh didn't get a ton of shots, but they had some really good chances. Nabokov made some real quality saves and didn't give up anything easy.

Nabby played well & he was there when needed, but the Isles did a really great job of keeping the pens to the outside for the most part. Nabby faced a ton of shots, but not many great scoring chances.

I went with Grabner who was just all over the puck last night. That's one of the best all around games he's ever had.

Nabby had a lot of shots but I think the team did a good job of reducing the quality of real scoring chances. Not taking anything away from Nabbys performance but that was about as a complete game as i've seen. This team can win a lot of games if they can bring that every night.
