Sorry, I do need to work on that. But if I could just figure out why I'm
losing my indents, at the beginning of paragraphs, my posts might read better.

No.

There were posters who were concerned that a compressed schedule,
with less practices, combined with no real training camp and no exibittion games,
would be too sudden a jump. The fact that it turn out alright, doesn't mean
that the concern wasn't legitimate.

And a year of ELC matters if we are a contender in his first non-ELC year.
Perhaps we'd gain a decent rental player with the difference.

Anyone got replay of that?

I think anytime a player like that(and Richards) is a UFA the Habs should be in the mix. Doesn't mean they should bid the moon, but at worst kick some tires, at best make an agressive pitch.

i agree....i mean..richards was a little old..i think he was better suited for a rangers team that looked closer to winning...but if we perform well this year..getzlaf is what? 27 i think he should be our guy...he's quick he's shifty with the puck....what do you think the chances of us scooping up getzlaf and perry? they do have great chemistry...also i heard somebody say that perry was a habs fan....anyone know anything about that?

Why wouldn't Schultz be able to keep it up? He's the 4th forward on a line that always has two or three of Eberle, Hall, RHN or Yakupov.

She's hot but i prefer alyonka (or how is it pronounced?) Larionov.

To be honest i don't recall the last time we had someone like those kind of skills in the organisation.

Oh yeah Kovalev but he was 30 plus.

If he is injury free in the next few years i could very well see him score 80 points per year.

Which would be pretty awesome.

Call it a hunch, it's way too soon to make any definitive statements, but I highly doubt Justin Schultz will finish more points than Tarasenko or Gally as a defenseman... that would be a feat.

We don't need Getzlaf. We don't even need Galchenyuk. DD is our 1st line centre.

Avec 5 pts, Alex Galchenyuk grimpe au 4250e rang de l'histoire de la #LNH, à égalité avec Sparky Vail et Hank Blade

Galchenyuk watch is most definately on!

This. Getzlaf doesn't have the work ethic to survive here. He'll get torn to shreds.

Galchenyuk is clearly NHL ready and scoring at a point per game pace but I just don't feel right about burning a year of his contract.

this kid is going to be elite.

It's exciting for once to have a young player like him.

His shot is so heavy. I think the precision will come back once he gets the NHL timing down.
