The structure of your post is very weird, I couldn't even concentrate on what you wrote.
Sorry, I do need to work on that. But if I could just figure out why I'm
losing my indents, at the beginning of paragraphs, my posts might read better.
The people that wanted him to go back down simply cared about his 1st year of ELC that was going to be used. Like who cares about that he will get paid a little more in 3 years and then still will sign eventually an 8th year deal here. Kids not going anywhere
No.
There were posters who were concerned that a compressed schedule,
with less practices, combined with no real training camp and no exibittion games,
would be too sudden a jump. The fact that it turn out alright, doesn't mean
that the concern wasn't legitimate.
And a year of ELC matters if we are a contender in his first non-ELC year.
Perhaps we'd gain a decent rental player with the difference.
Yup - to me that was his best play of the game. The way he picked up speed through the neutral zone, stepped around the defender and fed Prust who was all alone, was amazing.
I love that he seems to be getting more comfortable. Even if it failed, I'm happy he tried that dangle on Buf.
what do you guys think? number 1 center or should we go after getzlaf in the offseason.....or number 1 center and we should go after getzlaf anyway
I think anytime a player like that(and Richards) is a UFA the Habs should be in the mix. Doesn't mean they should bid the moon, but at worst kick some tires, at best make an agressive pitch.

i agree....i mean..richards was a little old..i think he was better suited for a rangers team that looked closer to winning...but if we perform well this year..getzlaf is what? 27 i think he should be our guy...he's quick he's shifty with the puck....what do you think the chances of us scooping up getzlaf and perry? they do have great chemistry...also i heard somebody say that perry was a habs fan....anyone know anything about that?
He is 4th in rooke scoring too (with Gallagher right behind), and the top guys are 21-22-23 years old. Granted, I don't think Schultz or Conacher (wtf?) will keep up those paces and it's Tarasenko's to lose, but interesting none the less.
Why wouldn't Schultz be able to keep it up? He's the 4th forward on a line that always has two or three of Eberle, Hall, RHN or Yakupov.

Call it a hunch, it's way too soon to make any definitive statements, but I highly doubt Justin Schultz will finish more points than Tarasenko or Gally as a defenseman... that would be a feat.
