Carter always had an awesome backhand deke but alot of goalies in the East kind of caught on to it.

Looking around, I believe Stephen Weiss for Luongo is a deal that is going to happen. Nucks get their guy who can help out this year with the injuries to Kesler. Probably a prospect going with Weiss too, but not a major one. Weiss would not likely resign with the Canucks due to cap space.

Hopefully I will be able to bump this post if/when the trade goes down.

I have our whole off season lined up if we suck this year. Trade Kimmo and Briere for 1sts and whatevs at the deadline. Play our ****** forwards on the PP like The Pens did before the drafted Mario. Go into the draft and select Seth Jones.

Now trade one of those 1st rounders for Markstrom.

Trade the other 1st we now have and a 2nd to move up and select Pulock.

Championship 2014.

I really should be the GM

Oh Offer sheet Piety after the draft for 75.55 million over 8 years.

Too good.

To start the third Sutter had Kopi on LW with Richards at C and Carter on RW and it got more screwy from there. He reminds me of a mad scientist! When Voynov scored the tying goal Gagne, Williams and Carter were together. Quick was pulled and I don't know which other forwards were on the ice.
I'm only reading the +/- so I could be wrong, but it looks like it was Carter, Clifford, Kopitar, and Gagne with Voynov (obviously) and Martinez

I thought they said Williams may have tipped it in but it was late and I was in the process of shutting down my laptop when they scored.

If stats are any indication, Fleury bombed tonight.

With Laughton off to juniors we should have a contract spot open.

Didn't Knuble take that sport or did that take Hovinen's spot? I thought I counted 53 with 3 ELC but I could be wrong.

Yep, we have an empty slot since Laughton is in the OHL and Knuble just slotted into Hovinen's spot after an unconditional buyout

Craig Custance ‏@CraigCustance
Teams around the league very aware of Andrei Loktionov's availability. Currently not much interest in him out there.

Dennis Bernstein ‏@DennisTFP
League source who knows talent: Loktionov can definitely play in NHL, Kings depth at C is glass ceiling

Wonder what LA wants for him

Eh, he's a small forward that hasn't done much at all.

How's his 2 way game?

I haven't seen the first two goals but the 2nd goal for the blackhawks was terribly played by Harding

Harding was pulled after giving up 2 goals in 6:45

Because Leights needed the time in net and Bryz needed the time out of it.

Bryz wasn't going to save the Flyers in that debacle anyway.
