To be fair, though, Winnipeg would probably be the closest in terms of driving time if not for (a) the border crossing and (b) low speed limits on Canadian roads.
8 teams from 4 different divisions are closer drives than the nearest NW team? That is ridiculous.

Edit: Wait a minute... this is the other spreadsheet I was working on, which was attempting to log how each team traveled and distance... Not just air miles. Air miles between Anaheim and LA would be zero.

They usually have someone do a tracker yearly. I think puckdaddy might have one. I don't think it has a weekly tracker, but its totalled.

I know this surprises no one... but the released report on travel costs was... insufficient on the data points. I wanted to do more with pivot tables, but never finished it.

If we're the Bad Luck Brian's of the NHL, this might actually happen.

Three years ago the Wild came back from a four-goal deficit in the 3rd period to win the game 6-5 in the shootout. Much better Wild team today than we had back then.

Anyone else remember...?

Wild will lose, the franchise will move to Houston, be re-named the Houston Wilderness and Las Vegas will get an expansion franchise.

There's a feature on Shattuck on NBCSN right now, talking about Parise, Toews, Crosby etc.

I see a 6-5 shoot-out win for the Wild, should be a fun one.

You are correct. But the Blackhawks have to lose eventually. Who better to give them their first loss than our Minnesota Wild?

So who remembers party boy Kane's embarrassing dangle on Backstrom last year?

Pierre: "They don't like you, you don't like them." I half expected Mikko to say "I like them" or something else.

Also, I'll give Bobby Mac credit for going old-school earlier talking about John Mariucci.

That wasn't embarrassing when it comes to Kane. I'd rank Mifflin and Buffalo taxis above it.
