in the shortened season we will most likely get maximum output from Krejci (at least i hope) from a PPG standpoint

Awards:
Looch and Horts are scoring and DK is racking up the assists.

What the hell is there not to like?

Krejci's success is predicated on having a true goal scorer on his wing. He has the ability to make Datsyukian plays but without a finisher we see him become complacent and bored. With Horton back, it allows for him to take a bit more of a risk because 9 times out of 10 Horty is there to get it and Looch is behind him crashing the net looking for the rebound.

The true bromance on that line is Krejci and Horton lol.

The Sedins are big-time players. They always win those big trophies at the post-season awards shows. That's what's important, right?

To bad Krejci had an overzealous fan knock a small piece of glass on him last season after game 1. I like how he took the high road and said he felt fine instead of saying it really konked him and his shoulder and neck was pretty sore. Classy guy

I have never heard Krejci complain or use injury as an excuse. Even when he came back from hip surgery on the absolute first day the doctors said he could be on the ice. In some way I think his stoicism hurts him (as it does a lot of other hockey players). They play with pain that would debilitate normal humans and don't whine about it, so people tend to dismiss it.

If Van had TT instead of Luongo they win the Cup instead of the Bs. I'll take either or both Sedins.

Krejci not only led all scorers in the 2011 playoffs, he didn't stand like a dime-store dummy and allow himself to be rabbit-punched by a snot-nosed midget, nor did he fall over like he'd been shot any time someone breathed on him.

Go ahead and take the Sedins. I'll pass.

Before I opened this thread, I imagined how it was going to go and who was going to say what. I was right.

I've liked the play of DK so far. As was previously stated, he and Lucic play so much better when Horton is in there with them.

Just wait in maybe ten or so games when Krejci goes on his slump and everyone says he isn't trying, is lazy, and should be traded for bobby ryan.

This is so true. Hockey players play through some injuries that would leave most people at home in bed, on drugs and calling in sick.

And Krejci doesn't use injury as excuse.

I don't think Krejci is lazy. I do think he gets bored and I definitely think he has to have somebody who can score goals on his wing. He isn't a flashy scoring center, he is the playmaking center. He struggles if there isn't anyone to make plays with or if the playmaker on his wing is struggling.

No you don't.

Krejci looks damn good so far. I love his play when he's on. I hate it when he falls off for extended periods of time. We'll see if that happens this year as it has just about every other.

Krejci is the best center the Bruins have and their success rides on his play. ITS ALWAYS BEEN LIKE THAT

give me a break with this garbage statement. You obviously hope Krejci fails to justify your years of bashing.

Really? Just read the archives of the Globe... There's a reason why Krejci was playing on the 3rd line at some point. Of course, this demotion never happened. It's all
"garbage".
