Does NHL approach leagues to join the game or other way around?

Like is it them not wanting the KHL/NCAA or those two associations not offering enough money (like the CFL) to get in?

KHL = Doesn't want to be a secondary league in a game.
NCAA = Doesn't allow use of names and likenesses even with licensing. Would basically just get the team names and jerseys, so not worth the licensing fees.

Is that official, the KHL has said they would it to simply be like the FIFA series and be a hockey branded game?

Concerning the NCAA, you mean the NCAA pays the licence to the NHL or EA?

EA would pay them I believe.

Would be pretty cool for Be A Pro purposes. Actually, would be cool to have prospects commit to NCAA.
