By the end of that game, Gomez had replaced Havlat on the second line. Watching him tonight, I kinda wished for a second Lou had signed him.

His GAA won`t back it up, but Lehtonen has been the best tender so far. The saves he makes are ridiculous. I`m very happy for him.

Also, Ottawa wouldn`t have so many wins if it wasn`t for Anderson, amazing start to the season for him.

Tampa, Buffalo and Winnipeg have been the most entertaining teams so far.

Boston and San José prolly the best ones. As much as I hate to say it, the Rangers are up there too.

You never know with the Ducks, but they`ve been surprisingly good thus far.

I read somewhere that Lou was interested but it just didn't pan out, maybe Gomez wanted to go to San Jose?

I find the reversals on Gomez to be amusing after just a few games. Wait a while, it will show.

TSN just tried to compare the Russian Five vs the 'Broadway Five" (Richards, Nash, Gaborik, Staal & Del Zotto).

They're.... not all... Russian?

And, well, not Hall of Famers. Not any of them.

Mika Zibanejad with his first NHL goal. I'm liking this.

Crawford with a "Fleury SCF" save on Bouchard. Huge kill.

I don't know if it's because I've had low expectations for him, but Crawford impressing the hell out of me so far this season, as early as it may be.

you used to be able to pinpoint goaltending, but I can't find a weak link on that team.

That is feeling of probably majority of people right now

Crawford showing that maybe last year was truly just a bad sophmore slump

His first or second game this year was a disaster, wasn`t it? I recall several Hawks poters calling for his head.

Glad he bounced back in a big way.

Oh and you should visit our Team News thread and tell us something about Kyle Beach.

Damn Harding got pulled already? I'm too lazy to turn on the TV, so I'm watching **** right now. Were they real stinkers that he gave up?
