Disagree, I think they do alright.
Niemi in my pool and Thornton has always been a favourite of mine.

Kaleta was boarded by Brown (Tor) last night and was taken to the hospital for a neck injury. Scary stuff no matter the player.

Oh my god why would you ever refer to players by their NICKNAMES during a broadcast?

If Jack Edwards EVER said something like "Sugar moves the puck along to Soupy" I would instantly mute the TV and find a radio.

I didn't realize it was that bad. Yikes. Hope it was for precautionary reasons.

Just watched the video of the fight. You've got to assume Brown is gonna get a suspension for it. Looked like him jumped a little into his back. Pretty sure that'll be at least a concussion for Kaleta

Probably a hit Carlyle ordered after Kaleta jumped Kessel last game. I fully approve this type of enforcing against the Kaleta's, Ott's, Cokke's, Torres and Pacioretty's of this league.

Leafs' Komisarek in favour of 2nd Toronto team
It is far from a done deal -- council still has to sign off on a formal agreement yet to be struck between local developer Rudy Bratty and the city itself, and there's still the matter of landing a team -- but for the moment the news provided reason to speculate about the possibility.

On a more practical level Komisarek is a believer in a second team for Toronto because it would almost certainly be a revenue producer for the league and as a result the NHLPA.

I'm sure this really endears him to his employer and their monopoly.

Not to mention that opens up another 7 NHL D spots, which he will surely be looking for soon enough.

This Montreal-Ottawa game is a good watch right now. Couple of spirited scraps between White-Smith and Prust-Neil, and a couple of weak goals puts it tied at 1 halfway through the 1st. Makings of a good one.

And i see yas talking about Markham,I do not like it. I seen other places try get teams and answer was no.So why should Toronto have 2 teams? Rather see Quebec get another team.Toronto to me will always be Leafs.

According to AP, Kaleta was released today and is home. He won't play Thursday.

What? He beat up Boychuck and fought a much bigger Mcquaid to a draw. That fight with Smith he also won, by outlanding the guy. His nose bled, so what?

Crappy fighter means Campbell.

very good timing for patrick kaleta.

-looks at schedule. sees bruins coming up on thursday.
-has very bad flashback about getting pounded in the face repeatedly by lucic.
-sees mike brown skating toward him, turns into boards, gets hit, skates off knowing he won't be getting beat up on thursday.

Whoops. Not Carey. That's what happens when I walk by the TV and glance at the uniforms only.

It's Budaj. Unless you're calling FOR Carey, which would be logical, I suppose.
