#7 - 01/31/2013 | Pittsburgh Penguins @ New York Rangers | 7:00 PM - MSG, NHL NET
THE MATCHUP
2013 REGULAR SEASON
GAME #7 - 1/31/2013
@
(3-3-0) ____________ (3-3-0)
TIME 7:00 PM ET ARENA MADISON SQUARE GARDEN - NYC, NY TV MSG, ROOT SPORTS, NHL NET
QUOTES TO NOTE
Obviously the mood around here is that we want him back as soon as possible. Cally's a big part of every part of the game; PP, PK and 5-on-5.
But that being said we have to push on, it's part of the game. Hopefully he is back soon.
- Brad Richards
We played smart, hard, and really aggressive, I think.
It was a good game. A good win for us.
- Henrik Lundqvist
You look at the last game, we had some good looks. We had probably five or six chances on our power plays.
I thought Girardi and Del Zotto did a really good job and Nash too, coming off the wall. We had really good puck movement on that PP.
The past couple games we’re getting much more movement out of it, and obviously we scored a big goal tonight.
- John Tortorella

Be smart, play like the last two games and if you must play Stu, keep him at forward.

Our lineup minus Callahan and Kreider is so ****ing ugly it's hard to look at
Gonna need big games from Hank, the D, and the top line if we want to come away with two points.
STAY OUT OF THE ****ING BOX!

I hope Eminger has a good game to finally prove to Torts that he is the best #6 option since Bickel has to play forward and can't replace Eminger on defense.

Our PK unit will get lit up if we take too many penalties and give space to Malkin.

Not taking bad penalties is the key to this one.

Finally not working on a game day.
We look weak, we need our defense and Hank to be godlike tomorrow. And players need to step up.

Damn without Cally and even Kreider our 3rd looks worse than many teams' 4th line.

I would start Biron because Hank is so bad against the Penguins. We're gonna lose anyways, might as well start the backup and rest the starter.
