Quite impressed by Zib yet again! He makes the fourth line a scoring threat.

Silf looks solid out there too and he's gonna bury some of those laser shots soon.

Liking our bottom 6 especially Greening-Smith-Neil.

He's not here to be a Karlsson.

Besides, he's not as bad as a Borowiecki or Phillips at handling the puck. You're over reating.

The only time I was frustrated with Methot was when Alfie kept trying to set him up for a one-timer, and he kept passing it back to Alfie.

I was yelling SHOOT THE ****'ing PUCK at the TV.

Oh, I thought the organ had started playing Sweet Georgia Brown. But yeah, that showed no confidence or imagination on Methot's part.

Exactly. He's about comparable to those guys... the man does not know what to do in the offensive zone. Even Phillips is better offensively. Methot's decision making has been poor. Karlsson would have more points if it wasn't for him.

As long as Methot keeps playing as well as he has defensively we have nothing to complain about. He's been a rock.

What goalie right now is better then Anderson?

Answer: no one.

I'm not saying he'll be the best goalie all season, but right now, he is.

Methot has been great so far. He's mastered the 1 hand chop at the puck. Always does it and always works for some reason.

There is no goalie in the league playing better than Anderson right now.

He doesn't seem to understand that I'm not saying Andy is the best tender in the league. I'm saying at this given moment, he's the best. He wont keep these stats up all season obviously.

He kills the play in the offensive zone. So I refuse to call him great. Never said he's been bad. Maybe Karlsson needs a more complete partner

Honestly, you need to cut the crap on Methot just cause you were wrong on him from the start. He was phenomenal today and has been the past 6 games. There is a reason why we have only let in 1 or less goals in 4 of the 6 games we've played and 2 goals once. Anderson has been phenomenal but Methot has been laying defenders out and not giving them a chance to get inclose for a point blank chance where that wasn't the case last year with Marshmellow Kuba.

Methot has played like a top-pairing defender and has been just fine offensively, his play definitely is helped largely by the King beside him but he has held his own and then some. A top 4 defender looking more than that beside Karlsson is what we prayed to be the best case scenario when we made the deal.

Seriously.

On one thread, MAK called Phillips-Volchenkov a legit 1st pair, despite their lack of offence, then in another thread says Methot is a 4-5 guy because he lacks offence.

Admitting he's wrong is not one of MAK's strong suits. Expect more of the same.

If MAK wasn't so 'in your face' with the opinions, most of us wouldn't care that he's wrong 97.5% of the time.

I would have thought this was a no-brainer last week, but...

Condra or Greening? Which one would you keep if you could only keep one?
