We hired an escort and sent her to the schedule makers office to ensure we would have time to work on our new coaches system after a few "trial" games.

Feaster is getting really creative with his investments. First PUCKS, than Cervenka, now the escort.

Its great now but in April we play 15 games in 26 days with 3 back to backs including the last 2 games of the year and never have 2 days off.

This. I see it as a disadvantage if anything.

It's beneficial because it gives the team a little extra time to gel and get used to Hartley's system and understand what he wants. Given that there was no pre-season games and shortened training camp, this extra time to practice could be prove to be extremely useful down the road.
On the other hand, it means an even more condensed schedule, which means fatigue and injuries will become a pressing concern. That's why I don't think Feaster will trade any of the extra depth the team has; it's insurance for the inevitable.

Looking at the rest of the schedule, I'd say some other team did the hiring...

Really depends on injuries the last month we play every other night and some times more often if we lose Kipper or Tanguay or Iginla for a couple weeks thats 6-8 games missed that is 12.5% to 17% of the season just crazy.

Condensed schedules are both good and bad. If you are on a winning streak its a great thing, if you aren't its horrible. With the depth the Flames have and Hartley's willingness to rotate players in and out of the lineup I think it will work to Calgary's advantage.

Games will be more condensed for the rest of the season, but it's an advantage against the Avs as they had a game in Van. last night.

Not only bizarre, but now we're dead last in the Western Conference.
We have some serious catching up to do if we hope to make the playoffs!

We may be last but we have 3 points in the last 2 games and are only 4 points back

Not only that, but many teams have played 2 or 3 more games than the Flames.

No big deal there.
They could have won the two game they lost, and the Flames would still be in a tie for 8th.

Lawls, we have also only played 4 games with only 4 other teams playing 5, even if we were fully undefeated, the best we could be is 6th lol. Chill out a bit, we're fine.

Games in hand only mean something if you win them. These are the Flames we're talking about. If history tells us anything, they don't mean anything.
