Fight could have taken another direction, Murray could haven been KO'ed? ;-)

As a Swede it's kind of fun at least having one fighter. ;-)

We do have some powerful open ice hitters though in Kronwall, Edler, sometimes Ericsson with Landeskog looking promising for the future.

Murray is not a very clean fighter though, too much grabbing and hugging, but rarely looses, strong as a bear (!) but not clean.

I strongly prefer his open ice hits though. But Murray is looking a bit more polished on the ice this season, confusing. Still a bit slow on his skates but more polished.

This is perhaps a result of the Sharks hiring one of the very best defensive coach of them all, Larry Robinson?

Hmmm, is Eric Boulton the only one defeating Murray so far in a fight? I want a rematch. Murrays NHL fight record still impressive though.
no. Godard 2x, Labrie, Boll,Stortini...... Murray have a good record because he fight middle weight....

I had no idea, I will have to do some youtube searching. ;-)

Or perhaps we have different definitions of winning.

Pfft. Both of those fights with Godard were draws where neither landed much. And he's never fought Labrie....

He did lose a decision to Boll, and I guess you could say Stortini too, eventhough all he did was pull Murray's jersey over his head at the start, get a few jabs in and hold on tight for the linesman to come in.

Gotta admire Volpatti's guts, but that fight did not end well for him. Murray is a monster.

He fighted labrie in a pre-season game and lost to godard in their first fight in pre-season game too and the second he was holding to not get destroyed but got tagged near the end and he was hbleeding....

Bieksa is a pretty small guy and plays big minutes. This spot picking garbage is going to need to be amended to "isn't supposed to fight 4th line clowns". 6'1, 198 is an exaggeration.

I have a feeling you're the type who would also criticize him for playing a hitting game but not being willing to back it up when asked to answer the bell.

And in this case, he (perhaps foolishly) decided to ring the bell himself.

Go look at his fight card from the last few seasons, it's filled with a bunch of 4th-line grinders who can't fight for ****.

What a ****ing mutant.

I never laughed so hard when Ray Ferriaro said someone on the opposing bench called Murray a mutant.
