i think krueger made the wrong decision today with potter/fistric.

doan was running around, fistric could've been used to hopefully destroy boedker

Very true. If you can score an important goal in the best league in the world, you deserve to celebrate.

I hate all of the grumpy oldies who are all "rah rah kid rah rah back in my day rah rah Bobby Orr"

Whitney was celebrating the goal, Morris skated by a punched him in the head area, Whitney called him a B and Morris dropped his gloves and started throwing bombs.

Man, on the replay, that Doan hit looks intentional and REALLY dirty. If nothing else, he certainly had time to slow down or stop.

If the NHL gets its head out of its ass, Coyotes should have two more guys suspended. I doubt it happens, though.

What's to read? I'm not understanding. It was a normal celly after a goal that may/may not have gone off Whitney's glove/high stick and your player is getting gooned right beside you. Happens all the time.

Morris should be suspended.

There's no excuse for it. Its actually assault. The game was over.

True.
Hopefully Edmonton's top line will show up for that game.

Really happy to come out with 2 points. Potter and Whitney are not NHL caliber defensemen.

Lol. I like how Yakupov reacted when the fight started.

First he tried to hold back Whitney going 'no' and than his first reaction was to protect Hall.

I love how the Coyotes stood there as if the game wasn't over. WTF were they doing?

Might as well send in the tape.

Dian's made a career out of this but has a glowing reputation for some reason.

YES!!!!!

repeat: No one on phoenix is upset with yakupov's celly, just whitney's trash talk and the possibility that the goal shouldn't have counted.

PHX is a physical team. I can (almost) forgive him for wanting Potter against a more skating team like the Avs, but not playing Fistric against PHX is absolute insanity.

Wow you are almost as whiny as the Coyotes themselves. I'm not disagreeing, they might make a difference but that you feel the need to come to our board and point that out just makes you sound like the little kid who gets picked on..."Waaah...when...when my brother gets here...you'll be sorry!".

Let's trade them both for Jordan Leopold.

Leopold Fistric
Peckham

Looks solid to me. Whitney's outlet pass is wasted by his legs and lazy play.

Whitney is just so slow now. There were a few times where he got caught racing for an icing call.

Solid win by the team.

Boring as hell to watch.

Dub had a great game. Complete ******** call by the ref with 2 min left. Should have had the SO.

Yak is awesome. He will learn the systems and how to play without the puck as time goes on but he is having a huge impact on our club so far already.

Gagner had a very strong game. Probably his best since his 8 point night. Much better defensively this game. Plus really looking good offensively.

Whitney and Potter worse pairing again... but they are the #5 and #6 and really didnt play bad overall. Whitney was the worst of the two IMO. But niether were at fualt for the goal. 6 on 4 only so much can be done.

Next game will be in Edmonton, so you can match them up more favorably. They were going up against what's essentially a PK line tonight, so that would probably explain their poor showing.

He must have gotten numbers mixed up at first.

Protect the important players.
