I can't imagine Varly being pleased. He was a KHL allstar, on a decent team.
Now he's on the bottom feeder, no team in front of him, no help at all. Throw in Giguere at least so Varly can watch how bad this team is and not feel as bad.
As for Barrie I think he's looked good out there, in comparison with the rest of our D. Have a firesale with Wilson, O'Bryne, O'Brien, Hunwick, and Hedja. AHLers might be better at this point. Look at the Irwin signing with the Sharks and Kostka signing with the Leafs.

Also, could Hejduk just retire early? No point in him playing out this season, i'd rather give his spot to an AHLer.

Yeah, they showed him on Sportsnet. It was a side by side of Sherman and Sacco. Neither guy looked too pleased (for obvious reasons).

Of course Hejda-O'Byrne as a first pairing will take the Avs to the playoffs. Why did it take Sacco 5 games to go back to this?

EJ has least ice time than all the defenders, as well as Stastny?
Johnny Malkin has created way more offensive chances then Stastny and his line mates are worse.

Yeah they showed Sherman. He was smirking like a jack ass. I don't believe he has even rudimentary understanding of the game of hockey. Good numbers guy, thats it.

Sad but true. Last year I just watched Avs game and it was ok. This year watching other teams make me realize how pathetic the Avs really are.

I don't think any other coach gets as much slack as Sacco does. I can't imagine anyone keeping their job after how absolutely brutal he has been throughout his tenure.
