Oh yes he has. His signature is on the team currently out there. And while ownership isn't investing big money, they obviously haven't completely tightened the purse strings.
Again, this team was supposed to make a big step FORWARD this season, instead they've taken a huge step back.
He's not the main reason behind this failure anymore than Sacco is, but he most definitely has played a part, as gas Sacco. Ownership is the biggest culprit though.

For those dissing Lacroix - he built teams that won us Cups. Sherman has said time and again, this baby is HIS, and that he refers to Lacroix for advice only when he needs it. Lacroix is a passionate Avs man through and through (look at what he did in those playoffs when Foppa was crook !!).
