Theres some pretty odd stuff in Saskatchewan "culture" to outsiders for sure.

Watch the movie Paperback Hero with Keir Dullea set in Delisle Saskatchewan. Its a good depiction of old school small town sasky culture. Has some hockey in the story line as well. One of my favorite movie.

Also at your age you can have a lot of fun in a smaller town/city. If you get a good paying job the world is your, well as much of a world as Saskatchewan can offer you. Give it a couple of years and a few more notches in the belt.

Its not nearly as bad as people make it out to be and i kinda wish i would have gone back for a bit when i was younger.

Saskatchewan is also beautiful in its own right. Unfortunately a lot of the heritage is gone as it develops more. Years ago my grandparents sold their farm that my great great great gpa homesteaded and i found out this summer the buildings are all gone now. Much of the old grain elevators etc a gone as well.

Sask will be the next alberta i think.

Know we've talked about this but its Official now:

Quote:
It’s official! After extensive negotiations, CBS has renewed How I Met Your Mother for a ninth season.
And this rumor is now confirmed too: Next season will mark the long-running comedy’s final outing.
All the series regulars will return — Josh Radnor, Jason Segel, Cobie Smulders, Neil Patrick Harris and Alyson Hannigan — as well as creators Carter Bays and Craig Thomas.

For a while, this was the Yahoo NBA page headline: "Third Team Needed in Gay Trade."

They quickly took it off.

Yahoo can be unintentionally funny.

Was I not allowed to put up that video of Saskatchewan?
A friend from Saskatchewan showed it to me, and I thought it was harmless fun.
I apologize if I broke any rules.

I have a Jack Russell who hunts them well, but it isn't enough.

Them being in the kitchen is one thing, but I'm pretty sure they're in some furniture now. Maybe even my mattress, which is not acceptable obviously. We're moving in a few months, but I don't want to take the mice with us in our furniture. Is there any way to get them completely out of the furniture like couches and chairs? Most answers on google just talk about either preventing them, or going to war with them and eliminating them from the house completely. That isn't an issue due to us not being the owners of the house.

Point taken.
But my friend was from there, and even she thought it was funny.
I did have to ask her what a Texas Mickey is though.

Shouldn't that mean he knows what it is?

I knew what one was when I was like 15/16.

The post with my video was deleted.
I just wanted to make sure I didn't break any rules.

I will have to call my hoodie a Bunny Hug from now on.
I think it is just awesome...
Although I might have to sew 2 socks on top, just to make it feel correct.

Try not to google it.
There are some really weird pictures...
Some are good, some...not so much, and some just doesn't make sense at all.

It really didn't tell me what it was.
To be honest, urban dictionary was more helpful...
Which also opened a can of worms.
I now know more than I should.
Some things can never be taken away...
The horror, the horror...

Its ****in' terrible. Every time i hear it I cringe.

I just looked up urban dictionary's explanation. What can of worms did that open? I saw nothing unusual.

I see it like a pet name.
I do love my hoodie.

Once you are on urban dictionary, you check almost everything you hear.
That was when I learn things no human should ever learn.
How do people come up with some of these stuff?
It also got me to review the company I keep...
So I guess that was a good thing.

Just a headsup, anything with Alabama in front is usually bad.
Very, very bad.
Or Alaska...
For some strange reason.

Took a look and the link has profanity in it. All HFBoards rules also apply to off-site links.

It was $1200 from Tigerdirect. The US had one for $1000 somewhere online but I didn't want to get a laptop from US because if I have to ship to US in order to get it fixed if there are any problems, it'd be very annoying.

I'm loving this laptop though, so much faster than my previous one

That's good.
I am glad you enjoy it.

I also sometimes wonder if I should get cheaper electronics from the States...
But I have terrible luck and I always get some crappy things.
I am a guy who went through 7 XBox's.

What is the best way or site to make HD gifs?

Gifninja keeps ruining the quality.
