Not just the pts for me Wally, his hustle both with and without the puck has been far more consistent and reminiscent of the Cup run, the guy`s capable of it, and so far at least, seeing it each shift.

I`ve been a harsh DK critic but I also try to be a fan who`s fair, and when/if a player does something well, I try and offer the kudos.

For what it`s worth, a few yrs ago I made my expertise known that Marchand was NOT an NHL player

Two big things I remember. With Krejci we smoke the Flyers, w/o Krejci we can't beat the Flyers.

Krech has always needed his wingers to show up and if there moving they will get chances .... just look at the Canes game Krech was feeding Horton, he could have had 5 goals !!

Also available in the archives: quotes from people that practice with/train with Krejci, quotes that call him one of the hardest working players on the team. Y'know, quotes that you ignore because they don't fit your agenda.

Krejci has a pane of glass fall on his head game 1, doesn't produce much after, called a choker. Bergeron,. hurts himself in the middle of GAME 5, does nothing before or after, is called a warrior.

Would hate to have seen the venom spewed had Krejci choked that game 7 winning goal instead of Bergeron... Place would be more intolerable then it already is.. :-)

I was tempted to plot a chart over the years of Krejci's production when he left practice early, was excused from practice or was playing with a suspected or known injury. Ya know, when he returned prematurely from hip surgery or had an unknown lower body injury in 2010-11 that lingered for almost 2 months etc. But it's all so cut and dry,he just disappears for spells........

Round 1 in the SC year versus the Canadiens when the line wasn't producing I remember Milbury saying; "It's not Krejci,Lucic and Horton are not keeping up with him". It was obvious.

He's been terrific.

Best Bruins forward so far.

Underrated player by Bruins fans and by fans in general.

I think all players disappear for spells for whatever reason....It's a long season. Problem around here is, only some are called out on it...

When I opened this thread I was shocked to see that ODAAT is the OP

I've always liked Krecji and his game. He is one of those players like Ference in that you don't always notice him until he's not playing- then his absense really stands out.

Like Daniel Paille, it is nice to see DK get some love around here.

I have a friend who's a Flyers fan. She's loved Krejci for years.

Yes, I like this thread. Couple idiots are still trying to justify bashing him.

The guy also plays bigger than he is, it will take a toll on his somewhat small frame. Last year we saw that and then some moron pushed a pane of glass on him.

Excellent player, he makes guys like Ryder and Lucic work and please understand those are 2 players who could become offensive black holes if they don't have a creative center dishing them the puck. Krejci is awesome. Bergeron and him are amazing and thier shortcomings really don't matter in the big picture if our 3rd lne can chip in some offense.

Krejci is the Flyer killer.

I also don't think Krejci's dry spells are due to laziness, I often think when he hits dryspells he tends to try to force things or get too fancy rather than keeping his game simple.

I love Krejci and I'm glad he's locked up and that none of the simpletons on this board are the Bruins GM.

Incidentally where's the trade Bergeron thread that surely would have been created for Krejci if he'd had a bad start this year?

Imagine my shock writing it.

Do my best to be fair and DK, so far, has played the way I and many others have wanted to see him play more consistently and I thought his play was worthy applause from a harsh critic

I've been a critic of his no doubt. I don't know exactly what's changed, but it seems that he is more involved in the play. Maybe his compete level has increased, what ever keep it up. Too me It's not about just scoring goals, but more about the little things etc. Keep up the good play/work DK.

All I know is that when he is doing good, we win.

Kretch deserves an appreciation thread.

When I see posts wanting to deal him somewhere I want to cringe. He makes Looch and Horton better players.

When Krejci is in the zone, he is an elite NHL player. His mental game is off the charts, and this allows him to make the most of what are relatively unremarkable physical abilities. He's like a Detroit Red Wing dressed in Black & Gold.

To me, a puck on 46's stick = hope.

I'd call it a slow start offensively. The kind of start that would get Krejci fantasy-traded by 50% of the posters on this forum.

Our best forward, again.

He's been arguably our best player. He is on his game big time.

Krejci is the type of player that needs good wing play. He has the creativity to get anyone in space and in positions to shoot. He needs scorers because hes a grade A playmaker but does have some finish himself. Good for 20 goals.

Hes hit 60 points 3/4 full years in the NHL including one with 70. Pretty good consistency for a 26 year old. All this much production with 4+ fewer minutes than any PPG center in the league. Not to mention hes good defensively and in the board game.

I dont think consistency was ever his issue.
