This'll be an interesting litmus test for our coaching staff. Assuming Boyle and Demers are both ready to go, does this bump Murray out? We'd be better served with more puck-movers rather than slow, hulking D-man against the Oil and TMac seems to love Murray, so it will be interesting.
Frankly, I'm guessing we see Demers but no Boyle. Just thinking out loud here.
First time using the season tickets since my father passed away. It'll be tough.
12, 8, 23, 44
I had season tickets with my dad for 6 years. It's been 12 years since he died and I still think about him every single game I go to. But as time goes on, the good memories take over the feelings of how you miss him.
The Cup is coming back to California
Like Spin said - it might be awkward at first but all you'll remember is all the great memories of going to hockey games with your dad. I still remember fondly of my dad taking me to my first game in MSG before most of you were even born.
This'll be an interesting litmus test for our coaching staff.
Specifically how much influence Larry Robinson has with TMac. Just speculation, but I think TMac is the guy who wants Murray in the lineup day in and day out, even though he is horrible now. And again, speculation, but I suspect LR would rather ice the lineup you mentioned with Vlasic, Stuart, Boyle, Braun, Demers and Irwin. (Assuming Boyle is ready to go post-flu)
I hope whoever is pushing for Vlasic, Stuart, Boyle, Braun, Demers and Irwin wins out.
NHL Head Coaches are, by and large, vastly overrated, especially when correlating the success and failure of the team to coaching prowess. Todd McLellan is the epitome of this.
