the battle for Seth Jones.

Both teams will be shooting on their own net for this one.

We'd still miss the net.

yes but then it would bounce off the backboards, get caught in zanons beard, where he trips over Giggys stick and falls into the net.... 3 times

And I'd be wondering, "Why do they keep showing the Zanon footage in slow motion?".....only to then realize it was, in fact, at full speed.

We know we are in big, big trouble when the biggest attraction on the team is the beard of Zanon.

It's more pathetic than fun but at least something for the media.

No. How many games Sacco needs to lose in a row to lose his job? 5 more?

Sure has! Not sure whether to get up at stupid o'clock again or not. I reckon we'll come out flying again. Hopefully it'll last longer than 8 minutes...

What was the losing streak that led to us drafting 2nd overall 2 years ago? How about last year, there was a pretty long slump as well.

Methinks that Sacco actually has a lifetime contract with a clause that says he can't be fired, he can only step down...and what moron would voluntarily leave a job that they're getting paid quite a bit of money for, despite being woefully underqualified?

Well, I'd rather have a job getting paid quite a bit of money for which I am very qualified.

Good point! I'd probably say between 10-15.

Honestly am hoping if the team gets dominated again tonight, the end of the road trip may be the end of the road for Sacco. Even if an assistant is named interim coach the rest of this year, which is more like the FO, it will give them time to go get Jacques Martin or the like.

Hope to see this tonight

McGinn-Dutch-PA
Olver-Statz-Jones
McCleod-Mitchell-Duke
Kobasew-Scarbs-Bords

EJ-Barrie
RoB-Hejda
Hunwick-Wilson

Think a Barrie-Hunwick pair is too small so Wilson has to slide. I'm pretty happy with how he's played though. Mitchell did not look great on the wing, and seems to get more impact at Center.

Barrie and EJ are both right shots and play the right side, neither play the left side all that well. This fits better:

Wilson-EJ
Hunwick-ROB
Hejda-Barrie

I would actually like to see what those pairings could do. At least one player on each pairing has some sort of passing and skating ability.

Put Elliott on EJ's left side. I'm 100% serious.

Dater finally gives it Sacco. I love it. Totally on point about this team and organization as a whole.
