does anyone know if i can present tickets right on my smartphone without printing them out? will they scan?
I'm pretty sure I've seen people do this before... But I'm not 1000% sure.

I have an extra club seat for tomorrow night's Islanders game, center ice 6 rows off the ice (directly behind NJ penalty box). Just looking to get 50 bucks for it. PM me if you want it and we can meet pre-game. Includes mediocre buffet food and soft drinks.

Has the food quality gone down? I sat in the clubs once last season and was impressed (granted I am very easy to please when it comes to food).

From my personal experiences and talking to others, I'd never experienced or heard anybody complain about the food
I'm pretty picky when it comes to food and while the fire/ice lounge food isn't going to blow you away, it isn't by any means the typical run of the mill buffet food

It's hit or miss. I sit in the club sections one or two times a year...some nights the food is great, other nights it's just average (but never flat out bad, in my opinion). It's an awesome experience either way.
Has anyone been to the clubs 'this' year though? Could have changed with Aramark.
I have not yet, but I would think the Devils kind of dictate what foods need to be served and Aramark may use the same distributors that CenterPlate did.
I have noticed that at the general concourse and POS stands, many of the same people that worked or CenterPlate now work for Aramark-which was great to see.
But just the seat alone is a steal for $50, for what this fan is offering.
I would jump on it in a second if I was not already going with a few friends.

you sure can. I do it every time on my iPhone. I just email myself the PDF and then open it in iBooks and it saves automatically. At game time, just open up iBooks, find the correct tickets, and zoom in on the barcode.
I tried this at Yankee stadium too and even though it worked, I got yelled at pretty badly. They don't like that apparently but I have yet to have any issues doing this at Prudential the past 2 years.

I wonder if this would work via the Passbook app on the iPhone?

I think the Devils need to release their own app first that also handles game tickets - then that app would have to give you the option of exporting your tickets to passbook. At least that's how I've read other professional sports teams do it.
