Because I'm still a fan of this team. I'll watch if we're getting blown out 10-0.

Bickel can do less harm on the wing than playing as the #6 d-man.

But he isn't on D. Would take Gilroy over Bickel 8 times a week

that's very true. he only played a minute and a half last game as our 6th d-man. it's becoming silly to even have him back there, especially if he's only playing that little time. 3 shifts, man! 3 shifts.

Gilroy is going to make people miss Bickel.

Just an unrelenting train wreck when I've watched CT. Hope I'm wrong though.

And what is that? Staged fights? Getting deked out of his jock by the opposing scrub d-man? Giving the puck away when pressured like last game against the Penguins? The lack of footspeed? He brings absolutely nothing positive to the table. At least Gilroy can lead a breakout.

Bickel is the worst defenseman to suit up for this team in my 12 years of watching the Rangers.

I will be shocked if Matt Gilroy leads a breakout.

The Pens haven't been playing their best hockey as of late. Even if Biron gets the nod I still like our chances.

I think this will be a game where Nash's skill will continue to flourish and he'll finally pot two goals.

LET'S GO RANGERS!

There was chirping today in my chemistry lecture. A group of me and a few other NYR fans were sitting together and pens fans in the desks in front of us kept saying how much goals they score and how bad we are. Rangers win please. I'll sacrifice chickens if need be.

Prediction: Gilroy sucks, Torts puts Bickel back on D and double shifts Nash and Gaborik with the fourth line

Gilroy hasn't been great this year for CT Whale, and think about it this way, he hasn't played this year because Torts has mostly chosen to go with BICKEL and EMINGER.

We might be in for disaster. Luckily, the Rangers are home tonight.

I hope to eat crow.

Tonight is the night to make up for the Home Opener. And I hope that means Biron doesn't get to play again. (even though he played fine)

Pitt has lost 3 out of their last 4. Started out 2-0. Lost to TO,Winnipeg and NYI. The Pitt papers brought up those losses coming at the hands of 3 non-playoff teams from last season. Beat Ottawa in the that span. Niskanen was paired with Letang. Niskanen got hurt in the Ottawa game. Out 2-4 weeks. Pitt plays well at the Garden. Despres will slide in the slot next to Letang. Orpik has been paired with Martin. Lovejoy and Engelland on the 3rd pair. The Rangers should be able to expose that D if they can their forecheck game working on a consistent basis. Letang is excellent but the other guys have their issues. Will the Rangers pay Orpik back for the Kreider? It was a clean hit but Orpik hit Stepan late last season. Have to send him a message. Take a run at the Pitt players. The Rangers don't have a D who takes no prisoners and smacks around the opposition. McIlrath will need to step up and fill that need in the future.

I would hate to be giving Pittsburgh powerplays reacting to a clean hit on a marginal player.

The best medicine is to send somebody , Bickel?, out as quickly as possible and start throwing them at one of the big 3 , Crosby , Letang or Malkin . Somebody from the Pens will jump in and things should even up . That should send a message we are done screwing around . This team needs to show they are united and play for each other and start having each others backs !!! If they happen to score a PP goal against us it is no big deal because if we can't get one to match we don't deserve to be considered contenders .

4-1 Rangers .
