Anyhow, I hope the team deosn't use this as an excuse to sidetrack
the development of Chucky. There is no way his ice-time or resposableties
should be governed be random illnesses.

Doctor told me that I should get a call from Maisonneuve-Rosemont to schedule a rendezvous with a plastic surgeon so he can evaluate if I should get a surgery or not.

My question is: how long would I have to wait to get this surgery? Probably months or a year right?

Sorry for the off-topic mods. Please don't ban me.
if the emerge doc think, but isn't sure you may need sx, he should have asked plastics to followup with you sooner, like a week or 2 tops, for them to acess the need for intevention. plastics may tell you you won't need any, but if they do, it's usually fairly soon, as they don't want to have to break your hand to fix it. things may start to heal a little, but they can work with that.
call other hospitals for f/u. pretty much all hospitals other than the jewish and the general, and rvh just plain suck. you couldn't pay me to get treated at any CHUM hospital. gross. call around and tell them you have a boxer # and see what's the soonest you can get.

also, what did you punch? haha. that's where that fracture got it's name from. usually comes from young guys raging and clocking a wall.

Max Pacioretty est sur la glace à Brossard et patine, mais sans trop pousser

Shouldn't he be resting at home? This man is not human.

On me dit que Max Pacioretty veut revenir au jeu rapidement, mais le voir sur une glace aujourd'hui est surpenant.

Hearing Max Pacioretty wants to get back in the lineup as soon as possible. But to see him on the ice today is something.

Look, he got surgery. He probably doesn't have a lot of stitches. With meds he's given, he probably feels fine. He won't be pinned to the bed in this sort of situation. If he's just doing some light skating and light puck handling, I really don't see what the problem is. Obviously, he can't do physical contact yet as it could open the stitches and also damage his healing organs.

Glad things are going well though.

Anyone remember this? I know it's different, but still.

"During the first round of the ’94 playoffs against Boston, Roy was stricken with appendicitis. He watched Montreal lose Game 3 from his hospital bed and then talked doctors into letting him out of the hospital to play Game 4. Roy stopped 39 shots in a 5-2 victory, then made 60 saves in a Game 5 overtime victory. The Bruins would win the series in seven games and only then did Roy have surgery to remove his appendix."
