The Penguins have been horrid since our last meeting, but knowing the Penguins, you just know they're gonna in here and suddenly look like team Canada.

Some notes from Pens practice: Kunitz didn't skate but he's expected to play tonight. Vokoun in net.

Fleury has been lit up lately. Vokoun has been solid for them. Nash will light his ass up tonight tho.

Id rather have gilroy was the 4th line forward and eminger as the 6th defenseman.

Clean but unnecessary with 30 seconds left in a 5 -3 game. Marginal player? just trying to get your fellow Ranger fans pissed at you? It worked. It's too early even for a brainless turd like you to determine what kind of player CK will be. Whether he's good, great, marginal or terrible remains to be seen. The only reason for you to make such a comment is to get under people's skin. Well done jerky.

I made no attempt to predict what kind of player Chris Kreider will be. I was speaking strictly about him right now.

30 sec or 30 minutes. Do you want Rangers to quit playing before the time is up? since he wasn't injured, it was a good lesson for Kreider, he won't do the same mistake again.

Bickel is the worst defenseman to suit up for this team in my 12 years of watching the Rangers.
So wrong. First off, Bickel is a young guy, and he will make mistakes. I'd rather have that from a young guy learning the game than an old guy who should know this stuff already. Christ, youre going to tell me he is worse than Redden? Worse than Backman? Did you ever see Ulanov? Do you recall Kevin Hatcher as a Ranger? Dave Karpa? Bruce Driver? Purinton? Poti? The list of bad Dmen for this team is so long its laughable, and it's unfair to tab a young guy like this with a tag like that.

Same here! I'll have my Hank jersey on too... Besides me going to the game Saturday, Lundqvist needs to start that game. Tampa's like averaging five goals a game...

Even though I don't that it'll happen tonight, I would love to just light up the Pens for once.

I like that Gilroy is playing, for all his flaws he can bring something that we lack to the back-end.

However I think he would be most successful paired with Staal, and I think he'll be paired with Strålman which makes for a less defensively reliable pairing. I guess the over/under for Gilroy's TOI will be something like 5:00.

Well in the end it's a matter of opinion, but I agree that Bickel has the uphand on Purinton and Ulanov, for example, because at least he's not taking dumb penalties like those 2 did.

But I don't know why Poti is on that list. He wasn't bad as a Ranger, just hated, because they traded the fan favorite York in exchange for him. Actually Del Zotto reminds me a bit of Poti. I would imagine if the Rangers traded Kreider for Del Zotto, people wouldn't be talking nice over MDZ.

Still the last Ranger defenseman to score 45 points!

And yeah, after the trade, Poti's career >>>> York's career
