That's actually an amazing idea. However, we can expect to see Giroux, Hartnell, Couturier, and Bryzgalov kicked out of the league.

Are you saying James Neal is over rated and got a huge contract?

Giroux getting crushed by Tavares on the main boards. Same with Bryz and Niemi.

DUMB.

If the Flyers had Bryz in 2010 they would have beaten the Blackhawks in like 6 games. Niemi wasn't great, Leighton was terrible.

EDIT: I spelled Tavares wrong. Haha "Taraves".

For some odd reason Islanders fans have been flocking to any hate thread of the flyers on the main boards. Kind of a funny sight.

When you've been one of the laughingstocks of the league for almost a decade, I'm sure it feels so much better to have someone else to ridicule for once.

The time is now, just move them out of Phoenix. This has been going on for way too long.
I think it's time to pull the plug. They can't find an owner to save their lives. The teams been to the playoffs the last couple of years and still have trouble drawing people. I think it's time to admit Arizona isn't a good hockey market.

I'm 22 and cannot remember a time in my life the islanders were ever relevant. In fact, I don't even consider them rivals and actually don't mind their team despite being in the same division.

Man if going 2-4 against a team and 3-15 since 2010 gives them confidence, just imagine how bad they'll be once/if they ever have a season of .500 against us.

Yeah odd bunch they seem to get really mad when people have giroux as one the best players and don't mention JT.

- It took me til the slow-mo replay to be sure who the player in red was going after.
- The bench shot at the end, looking at #11 tells me that this must be some low level beer league

All in all, good for the ref to stand up for himself, though I don't think he threw any punches.

I highly doubt the climate has anything to do with why their teams are bad or not. From what I've heard, Arizona has a lot of transplants, so it has to be tough to develop a huge following when people still have their hometown teams to watch.

Yeah I'm sure that doesn't help either. Arizona and Florida teams in all sports seem to have the same problems when it comes to attendance numbers.

Any description on what happened? CI doesn't have that game on the schedule. But... they do have two slots scheduled for the Caps game which is blacked out locally.

Came in on the wing, he took a shot on Lundy, saved it, play stopped, Girardi shoved him a bit (Crosby) behind the net, Crosby turns around to try to push back and when he tries to, he flops backwards as if someone hit him with a sledgehammer or something. Girardi got penalized for roughing.
