+1. Shark fan who lives in Phoenix, took my 2 Canadian buddies to the game last night. Refs were horrible, moreso against the Yotes but a few callls for the Oilers got butchered.. The refs dictated alot of the 2nd period and parts of the 3rd. 1st period was pretty clean.. Took lots of photos of your big 3, when i figure out how to download them on this site I will share.
As for the game tonight, thinking my Sharks should win,so long as Boyle or Demers is back(watch the Ducks game). I think the Sharks have the speed to match you guys but our size should be a factor over the course of 60 minutes. Good luck and I really enjoyed seeing the big 3 in person..Pretty cool..

Looking forward to the game. I've been hoping the Sharks would stay undefeated. I want us to be the ones to end the streak

I'd like to see

Harski RnH Eberle
Hall Gagner Yakupov
Smyth Horcoff Hemsky
Paajarvi Belanger Petrell

And the addition of Fistric for this game.

Won't happen but that's what I'd like to see.

Gonna be at this one! Hopefully we win so I don't have to endure a barrage of beaking on the train ride home.

PLEASE play Fistric. And Dubie.

Hemsky was our best forward last night.

Krueger isn't going to waste him by playing him with Smyth and Horcoff.

Petrell was our best forward last night. Hemsky has been a little lost this season imo. You never know, he might get some old school mojo going with Horc and Smytty. I'd rather have Yakupov ahead of him on the second line at this point.

So who gets the start, Dubie or Khaby? I didn't see any confirmation.

from what I read, it seems the oilers didn't work too hard last night, so the back to back games shouldn't be an issue.

I think they'll be ready to play hard and play well this evening. they had a bit of a down game yesterday as the were looking past it to the sharks game.

This is exactly what I want as well. You have to have some sandpaper on the line for RNH and EBS. Someone has to fight in the corner. Harski is our man. Also, I am very impressed how PRV is playing

How many times has Hemsky passed to Yak for a scoring chance?? not many..
Interestingly enough Hall has had the primary assists on 2 of Yak's 4 goals.. Gagner with the other 2 primary assists.

Also, Horcoff-Smyth duo has been getting as many scoring chances and icetime as any other line.. Hemsky being on that line is not a demotion.

Having said that .. I think Petrell is a better fit on the 3rd line than Hemsky.. Hemsky is more about attack on the rush while that line is good for the cycle play..

I would try Hemsky-RNH-Ebs, and Hall-Gagner-Yak for a bit leaving the bottom 6 intact.

The kid has 4 pts in 6 games but IMO RNH is in a bit of a slump offensively.

edit: damn you Nuge

Damn Hall's good. How many players in this league can score, and get a primary assist on the same play?

7-6 Oilers win

Oilers players score 7, the Sharks 6

I doubt we will see Hemsky on the third line-he will be like Smyth, regardless of performance, he will still get his "spot" based on name.

I agree with the bolded, but I couldn't justify Hemsky on the fourth line, so Petrell had to get shafted on my lines.

I doubt they change lines before the roadtrip is over besides a goalie or 6th d change Krueger won't change the top two line without practice and especially while we're winning games
When the road trip ends I would like to see yak play with someone else because I think he can do better with different line mates. Also Nuge and Eberle should stay together for sure.

WTH you talking about? I thought all of Hall's assists, as per Gone, were secondary and he was just mooching off others

The Sharks have been a bit like the Oil in that there is no balanced scoring.

Other than Couture, it's been the top line.

If we can match top line scoring we have a chance
