i've never lost money playing craps, and i only bet more than the min if the roller is setting the dice up the same way every time. it works for me.

the rollers that get on a roll hitting 6's and 8's are almost always (in my admittedly very limited experience) setting the dice up a particular way each roll. the ones that just shake the dice and toss 'em usually crap out within 4 or 5 rolls max.

So would I. But I need money I can afford to lose before I go to a casino. I'm lacking that right now

Its the strangest thing. I used to see it more often play out as you're saying. The ones setting the dice tend to roll for longer, hit more points, etc. What that point/number they hit most often is may vary, but I did used to see it as you say. By the same token, anytime I've been relatively recently (within the last year I would say) it hasn't played out like that anymore. I see just as many people who take forever setting it crap out really fast. I'm one of those people that just grabs the dice and throws them. No real formula to it but I'll get all of those outcomes of crapping out in a few rolls max or going for a while. Really its probably just the people that grab them and throw cancel out any influence on the math of it all and just play out the probabilities the best while those who set it may delay that from happening (if they know how to do it right). Seems pretty hit or miss though.

Lets put it this way.

One of the accidents was caused because a "competitor" got confused midair as to where the clutch is and where the brake is on a snowmobile.

No, I'm not kidding.

If you didnt watch the X-Games, this is a must see video. It's mind-boggling this was allowed.

In addition to himself, he could have easily killed spectators.

wasn't Al Gore's monthly power bill at his mansion something like $5k? I had to laugh when that report came out for Mr. Environment.

twas something like that. to be fair, he has donated more money than I’ll ever have to the cause, so it sorta balances out. let me just search the fox news site for information on it, I’m sure they reported that as well.

the point isn't that it "balances out." the point is that it's kind of hard to have anything but contempt for all these celebrities that preach going green while they're enjoying their energy gulping mcmansions and 13 exotic sports cars. they're pretty much the definition of the word hypocrite.

All I need to know about Al Gore is that he invented the internet.

can you list some example celebrities that do this? I honestly don’t know any. and by the way, lets be real- in the nhl alone we have 30 teams jetting all over the place every day. you don’t seem to hold bettman, lou et al responsible? because they aren’t celebrities? I wonder how energy efficient it is to have teams near atlanta flying back and forth to winnipeg for last season, and this?

al gore and leo dicaprio (for example) have given tons of money to help the cause, as they recognize that if we continue at this rate, we may just make earth inhabitable within the next 200 years. at least they’re doing something about it. nobody seems to show any empathy without catering to their personal needs these days so- imagine our grandkids (depending on some ages here) and how they might be feeling during their last day on earth. at least al gore’s (great?-) grandkids can say, ‘welp, he tried’.

sure, the sexier story is how he AT ONE TIME was ‘guzzling electricity’. the non sexy story reads: the home in question, I want to say in nashville- now has been redone to be ridiculously energy efficient. but you wont hear that story- you’ll hear the usual idiots bashing the advocate instead of the policy when they have run out of grounds for arguments.

The entire concept of "Carbon offsets" is one of the most douchebaggy things I can possibly think of.

Also, Al "Global Warming crusader" Gore just pocketed a cool $100 Million dollars selling his network to a media entity (Al Jazeera) which is nearly 100% funded with petroleum money.

The G5 planes were a bit much too. Nobody practises what they preach, and expecting politicians to do so must be some type of insanity.
