Forget line brawl, I want the benches to empty and see everyone fighting, even the goalies and coaching staff. Then I want the lights to go out, and a gong to hit, and Mike Gillis to come out and absolutely clean house. Who knows, maybe the Shield will show up?

I agree with this. Much like the San Jose game was Schneider's guaranteed after his Anaheim shutout, Chicago should be Luongo's after his Colorado shutout.

Geez...I mean, by all means our players should finish their checks on Keith, and maybe drop the gloves, but as much as I dislike Keith, the amount of hate so far in this thread is just off the charts. I'd much rather see us beat the Hawks cleanly then watch a game filled with penalties and line brawls and such. Winning > everything else.

Maybe if we're up like 3-0(NOT 2-0) near the end of the third, I could imagine seeing someone drop the gloves with him, but if the game is close, no way should we start playing undisciplined.

Disagree to an extent. That game vs. the Bruins last year was one of the best Canuck regular season games I've witnessed in years. I don't think we should be gooning it up completely, but as long as Chicago is game I have nothing against seeing a brawlfest of a game.

We actually saw a little pee and vinegar out of the Sedins against Dustin Brown the other night, let's hope they show some testiness (and some testes ) this game too.

Keith better be thanking his lucky stars he plays hockey in North America! Can you imagine what would happen if a soccer player took out a star soccer player in Central/South America? Guaranteed death threats, and a probable assassination attempt...

Nonetheless, hopefully they play them hard and beat them on the scoreboard tomorrow. Nothing good ever comes from gooning it up....

Just watch. We'll all be so focused on what's happening with Keith, that out of nowhere, half way through the game, Hansen will just annihilate Kane or Hossa with a huge, clean check that will just drive the Hawks crazy. It'll all hit the fan. One team or the other will lose their cool over it, and it'll end up being a blowout win for someone.

Ok, first replace 'Ralph Wiggum'... with 'Duncan Keith'.

THEN replace 'Lost his shin-guard'... with 'Is on the ice'.

Wouldn't be surprised if the team received a directive to move along (for tomorrow). Heck, Daniel himself might just say 'all I want tonight is two points.'

This is not THAT kind of a team, for better or worse.

As for Hossa: is anybody else surprised he was able to come back so quick and so well? Do you think opponents are going easy on him after what happened?

Makes sense; go with the guy coming off the shutout.

Hope Lu's ready to see a lot of puck - the Hawks are going to be sending a lot of rubber his way.

I guess Lu isn't getting traded anytime soon, we're going to ride two starters all season.

It is a no lose choice for AV. If Lou gets lit up, he throws in Schneider. If you reverse that scenario, it looks much worse IMO.

Schneider said its just adversity. Coach didn't tell him he wasn't starting, figured it out when didn't hear anything. #canucks

Nice AV. Schneider probably didn't see this year playing out like it has.
