As long as the salary going out is the same as the salary going in, it can work.. Pretty sure anyways.

I'm more pissed about Landry Fields still being on this team... what a terrible contract! Watching the BC interview, the guy has no clue what he's doing, much like Burkie. What system is he talking about? 5 years of nada.

Good thing is, I like Lowry/Rudy/DD, Ross will continue to develop and JV is our big man for the future. Problem is, no depth on the bench. And Fields is still laughing at us, while milking millions buying his hot GF gucci.

Rudy Gay is Kyle Lowry's kids god father. Sounds pretty good.

Haha, wow. BC just said on PTS that during a call with the league last night they said the non-call on derozan was the correct call and they will issue no apology.

Yea, McCown and Shannon were stumped. McCown basically said in response: Wow, on a scale of 10 on missed calls that one was an 11.

I don't know if this has been posted already but here is Casey's rant after the game

I loved the bit about get the apology and take it back to Canada. I'm glad he brought that up. I doubt there is some kind of conspiracy, but it does feel like it is easier to screw the Canadian team.

Casey was just fined 25k for that rant by the league.

He's putting his money where his mouth is.

I believe the way it works is that if you are over the cap, the salaries being exchanged have to be within 15% of eachother.

At least that is how it was in the old CBA from what I remember.

I doubted they would admit to it after having admitted to the previous errors. It starts to get embarrassing when the same team is continuously screwed on calls.

I can only hope. Or Thomas instead of Diop.

Are they considering dealing Ramon?

**** I'd do that no problem. I wouldn't even care if Bargnani plays well there.

If anyone cares, Davis is not in the Grizzlies lineup tonight.

It'd make a lot of sense for the Raptors. Fill the 4 with a decent rebounder or with Diop who's been around.. Pick up a decent PG. Give up Anderson who can contribute offensively, Bargs who gives them another scoring threat with Kemba.

I don't know why, but I was possessed to play around with the trade machine and make up the most convoluted trade involving the Raptors that would go through in terms of salary.

http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=d8kyjvf

To Toronto
Emeka Okafor (from Wsh)
Darius Morris (from LA)

To LA Lakers
Jeremy Lin (from Hou)
Andrea Bargnani (from Tor)

To Houston
Pau Gasol (from LA)

To Washington
Royce White (from Hou)
Carlos Delfino (from Hou)
Alan Anderson (from Tor)

It's not really a fair trade (though the Hollinger analysis says that the Raps break even, the Lakers add a win, the Rockets lose a win, and the Wizards lose 4 wins) and it probably makes no sense at all for everyone (especially Houston) but hey, it worked from a salary perspective.

yeah, I wasn't really paying attention to stuff like that. I was going for a ridiculous deal.

Though realistically I don't think it matters all that much. Harden is what makes that team work and just barely behind Lin in terms of APG. He would be just fine as the facilitator.

lmao Nem. Royce White to Washington. You're too funny man. Even Washington won't touch that contract; especially after they got rid of headcases Gilbert Arenas, JaVale "80 IQ" McGee and Andray "narcissistic" Blatche.
