No offense to the penguins but the Rangers are making them look like world beaters.

I would say that despite having a few fleet footed players, we're a fairly slow team and certainly not dynamic. Our forecheck is supposed to be our bread and butter, but without speed it's kind of ineffective. I really dislike the fact that our gameplan, in the offensive zone is 'put it in the corner'. Might have room to post up on the half boards? Nah, dump it to the corner. Open up the ice by sending it back to the point? Nah, dump it to the corner. Have a little room to walk it out and look for options? Nah, dump it to the corner. Think about throwing it on net from a bad angle and crashing the net? Nah, dump it to the corner. We play half the game between the bottom of the circles and the back of the opposing net. Never going to be a strong offensive team with that strategy. I understand, we're trying to work with the strengths of the players we have and play a system anyone can learn and join, but we are so desolate when it comes to creativity and calling audibles.

Nash needs to score.
I don't care how well he's playing. He has to score a goal.

Can't blame them for being afraid of the refs whenever they face the Pens.

Wow. This thread is depressing. They've been playing better for a few minutes now, but you wouldn't believe it if you read this thread.

This is my first home game that I'm watching on TV so I'm sure it's been asked but why is the camera guy zooming in so much especially in the corners? You can't see the rest of the zone, it's terrible.

Why can the islanders win against these clowns? Only we seem to be afraid of them.
