But didn't it?

If KO was a lefty that could have been a goal.

Great pass by Boyes. Looks like Tavares is getting on a streak!

Dont think they have to worry about the Devs crowd--- they cant sellout for playoff games

Why? He's a 19 year old kid playing in his sophomore NHL season. He's going to be a great player.

What a play by Strait on the Devs 3 on 2. This guy is very good. Seasoned defenseman couldn't play it that good.

Yup, withstood the first 10 minutes and then got the forecheck going.

Yeah. The problem was he made it completely obvious that he had no intention of shooting. After waiting that long for JT to crash the net, he probably would have been better off just taking the shot. Probably would have caught everyone off guard.

Yea lets not draft the future first pairing PMD. He was scratched to start the season as a product of the depth the Devils have on D. I would pretty much take him right now over any dman on our team not named Hamonic or Amac (yes that includes Streit)

Agreed. Strait's doing more than earn his keep.

Are you getting excited yet, or is it too early? I'm having trouble containing myself. I keep telling myself that it's just a team full of waiver wire pickups and they will eventually come back down to earth, but the more I see the more I'm impressed.

I love how some of us have no idea of how to react to watching a good product on the ice.

the D has been looking good so far, good positioning. Grabner looks like the player he was in the second half of 10-11, last year i would barely notice him on the ice, now i notice him every shift

Chill, it's still early... so when's the Cup Parade? Who's going?

I know. It's almost embarrassing... whatever though, I'll take what I can get at this point.

Which is exactly what we need. Having an elite top line and another 30-goal type player on the 2nd should be enough secondary scoring to get us into the playoffs. Just need the defense and goaltending to do their part, which so far they have been.

I'm outside the NY area, and I wanted to switch over to the Rags game, but I can't find it.

Just tuned in. Aside from the goal, how else have they looked so far?

Tough first 10 minutes, Nabby looked good. Isles controlled the majority of the last 10. Pretty even period with the isles on top

I'm happy with how the team has been playing lately, an Island of misfit toys yet it's kind of working. We actually might have something to root for by game #40.
