No, he's not. He may be one day, but to suggest that now is just blind homerism.

OP asks the question: "which duo would you take
going forward "
Couturier has the much higher ceiling.

Henrique is better than Couturier now but Couturier has more upside, IMO. That being said, I take Henrique over both those players alone for his sheer clutchness.

Couturier has the much higher ceiling .
henriques ceiling is way higher. he almost won the calder last year at a very young age. not to mention his clutch ability. Henrique>couturier.

Lol at the Henrique love, he's the weakest player going forward of the 4. Flyers duo for me just because of Couturier, he has the highest upside.

You're correct there... But Henriques upside is nowhere near Couturiers lol... Henrique was awful in the AHL this year without Kovy and Parise, and he was much older in his rookie year than Couturier was, while couturier was playing 3rd and 4th line shutdown minutes, Henrique was being Carried by two superstars who he had scored significantly less points than.

weakest player? 52 pts i his rookie season and hes the weakest player? i beg to differ. this duo basically comes down to henrique and couturier. because larssons arguably the best here and will be moving forward. but i see henriques game to continue to improve. he has years ahead of him and will be a solid 65-70 pt guy while playing great defense. IMO anyway

parise and kovalchuk had absolutely no chemistry together and looked terrible when playing on the same line. henrique was the glue to that line.
