He keeps that up and guys are going to start taking liberties. Not condoning it, but he sure isn't going to make friends outside of Edmonton doing that stuff. I get it. He's young, it's going well for him, but do something in the league before you get that whipped up.

BTW, Yakupov's celebration was fine.

Just what Morris did wasn't.

False. Morris deserved to hit Whitney. The end of that replay when Whitney stares down Morris and that ain't gonna fly. Morris doesn't get intimidated. NHL player Derek Morris is a man. He doesn't take that and he shouldn't. Took down Whitney despite giving up 3 inches on him. I was fine with Yak's celebration.

Awesome. Gagner twisting words like Whitney twists his own ankle.

Apparently it wasn't Yak's celebration that got Morris upset.

http://hfboards.hockeysfuture.com/sh....php?t=1337649

Video shows more, looks like Morris and Whitney were chirping about something else.

Spezza out for 2 months due to back surgery. I think we can relate to losing our best center.

My boy Casey Wellman (because somehow I'm the President of the Casey Wellman Fan Club) is heading to Washington.

Quote:
ARLINGTON, Va. – The Washington Capitals have acquired forward Casey Wellman from Florida in exchange for center Zach Hamill, vice president and general manager George McPhee announced today.

Wellman, 25, has recorded 23 points (seven goals, 16 assists) in 37 games this season with San Antonio of the American Hockey League (AHL). He ranked third in points on San Antonio at the time of the trade. The Brentwood, Calif., native has tallied 13 points (four goals, nine assists) in 41 NHL games with Minnesota from 2009-2012, and has recorded 105 points (44 goals, 61 assists) in 136 career AHL games with Houston, Connecticut and San Antonio.

Just saw that and was going to post.

Dude is making his way all over the league. At least he will be able to experience the entire continent at this rate.

Michael Russo ‏@Russostrib
@HockeyGalindo Remember when Casey Wellman was the Wild's best prospect?

Heather Galindo ‏@HockeyGalindo
@Russostrib Actually now that you mention it... I'd blocked that period of time out. #preFBJ

Colorado scores late in the 3rd to go up 4-3 against Calgary. Hopefully stays this way to disregard a three point division game.

Edit 1: Another late goal to go up 5-3. Woo.

Edit 2: Make that 6-3. Calgary fizzled out.
