lol Vanek always starts his interviews with a high pitched "well"

Vanek domination out there and Ennis was great.

High Definition TV!

Good:

Vanek! Self-explanatory.
Pommers, CoHo, and Ennis all had solid games.
Miller making the big saves in crunch time.

Bad:

Can't think of anything, actually.

Ugly:

Myers and Leopold. Good god, is was almost as if Boston had a power play every time they were on the ice.
Lindy constantly sending Myers and Leopold out there.
Lindy not benching Myers and Leopold.
Lindy not breaking up Myers and Leopold.
Brad Marchand.
Zdeno Chara.

Great, scoring 4 goals in he third against a time that hadn't allowed a third period goal all year.
Great, Vanek, we are not worthy.
Great, Miller with one of the best games by a goalie who let in 4.

Bad/ugly Myers.

Other goods:
Handing Boston their first home loss of the year (They won the first 5 straight home games, the most since something like 1990)
Handing Boston their first regulation loss.

He also usually starts every answer with a chirpy "Yeah", but not as many as the "y'know's" as Miller lays out in the post-game.

Really all 4 goals can be traced to horrible defense plays. Maybe the 4th one Miller will want back...but the Bruins should have put 10 up today, and that's no exaggeration. Miller played phenomenal, especially at key moments in the game.

My only hope is that Grigorenko sees games like this from Vanek and gets really inspired.

Vanek was astounding. He looks like to have some nice chemistry with Ennis..

Vanek-Ennis-Pominville

Do it Lindy. I could see all 3 of them scoring at a 70 point pace together.

Amazing: Vanek

Good: Hodgson except for that flub on the first goal. Ennis, probably should've had 3 or 4 himself. Miller.

Bad: Defense is awful, especially the Myers/Leo pairing.

Ugly: Stafford looking at a hearing.

Good:

- Vanek/Hodgson/Pominville carrying the team offensively
- Ennis showing some spark, particularly after the first
- Sekera was okay, as were Weber and Ehrhoff...see below for other 3
- Miller, particularly the second half of the game and the third period
- Weber's hit early
- Stafford's elbow to Eddie Munster

Bad:
- Myers...brutal
- Sulzer...brutal aside from the goal and 2 other shifts
- My good god, the Bruins announcers are awful
- Leopold...HORRENDOUS

Ugly:

- the D unit is still soft, can get cut through so easily...
- Miller out to lunch on the Marchand goal
- Thornton's lights out fall,..yikes

No injuries that we know of. Losing streak over. Divisional powerhouse who had a mental advantage over us. We weathered the storm on the road, in a tough atmosphere we always struggle in, buried our heads, got carried by our #1 line, and our goalie made big saves down the stretch.

You take ugly wins all ****ing day. In fact, those are the kind of wins that bring the team together. Hoping this is a turning point; though not something to build off of from the D unit's perspective.

Ennis/Foligno did some good things, didn't notice stafford much (although I wasn't watching until the 3rd)
Thought weber, hoff, and sekera were pretty good
Grigs played OK too

Thread title says it all.

Miller was also superb, it's too bad our defense is so ****** otherwise I think we could win a round or two in the playoffs depending on how hot our forwards get.

Myers and Leopold, holy **** just get them out of my sight, bench the both of them.

Good win.

I didn't like the collapse in the second. But they got a couple of calls and they made the Bruins pay.
