I was only able to watch the 3rd, but it looked like Ennis was out there with Vanek a few times..just during line changes a few times or what?

Do it Lindy. I could see all 3 of them scoring at a 70 point pace together.
I've been saying that for a while now. Totally agree.

The amazing: Scott taking Thornton out of the game and setting the tone.

G:
-Vanek wowowowow, I jumped out of my chair THREE times (pass to Ennis, pass to Cody, last goal)
-Ennis woke up in the 2nd, thanks to Vanek. Finally.
-Foligno looks like he's back as well. Great sign.
-Miller was a wall when it was needed most.
-John Scott

B:
-I would really like more of a 4th line.
-Weber was good enough, but his breakout passes are scary.
-Stafford's elbow.

U:
-Myers/Leo

God-like: Vanek, Miller

Bad: Myers, Leo

Ugly: B's bench, Coach, what a bunch of ugly mugs

Reminded me of the inbreds in Deliverance

Good:
Vanek... he doesn't always score Hat Tricks..... but when he prefers Boston
Pominville - solid game
Hodgson
Foligno - destroyed the Bruins on the Penalty Kill....
Ennis - when out with Vanek just unstoppable... and they both missed an open net
Miller - With the Sabres playing on a 5on3 PK when Leopold and Myers on the ice... kept them in there

Bad:
Myers: Are you lost?
Leopold: Do you remember how to play defense? You play the body and try not to flail on the ice like a fish
Me: For picking Stafford in Survivor.... should of just taken my Vanek game first game.
Chara: Looked bad tonight
Rask: No side to side game huh?

VHP had 11 points between them tonight. I don't think you split something like that up.

Leopold made some bad decisions tonight. Maybe Brennan goes in for him?

To piggyback this ...

I would add ...

G - Sulzer quietly was solid, and added a nice goal. Hodgson's best game as a Sabre so far. PK's were better.
B - Rask
U - Chara

Sulzer was AWFUL for the first half of the game. The shift up until he got boarded sticks out as a bad one that was more common than not.

Grigs had a big time assist. Nothing fancy, but key.

Vanek's deke on goal 3 was one of the best moves I've seen in years.

I have to give Lindy credit for one thing: putting Scott out there at the very end. No stupidity, just send out a tough guy who already cleaned up once tonight.

I'm not seeing enough Scott in the Good column. What he did to Thornton in period 1 had a huge effect on the game. That was what the nuclear option is all about. "Hey, I just took your enforcer out of the game, do any of your skilled tough guys want to risk it?" The Bruins physical guys went to sleep after that. You think McWhatever wanted to start anything with 13 seconds left to go with Scott next to him?

With that said, Vanek was a beast. Plain and simple. I've been critical of him in the past, but he is the heart of this team at this point. This guy wants to win more than anyone on the ice.

Wait, people are campaigning to take Hodgson off the VHP line?? After a game like that. Will the agendas never end?

Yeah because you hate Hodgson. How are you going to spin his 3 point night in a negative way this time?

That's why I referred to Ennis's horrible misses in the 3rd.

See how that works?
