Quite simply, Kulemin has been amazing this year.

Insane effort. His boardwork is near flawless. He's SO fast. Passing is much improved. He and Grabo are showing 'dat chemistry again. Brilliant defensively.

JVR is really exciting me. I've been a big fan for a long time, and was stoked when we got him, but honestly I wasn't really expecting him to be this good this soon.

I agree, the only one Lucic can take is Komisarek, which in itself is not much of a feat to celebrate

Can't wait to see if JVR can take his skill level to another level that made him a second overall pick .. He's doing everything else great

Kessel is best off the rush. On the PP he just can't pull off those one timers. Sliding into the slot on the PP for a wrister is his best option.

Bozak has been pretty invisible offensively save for the first couple of games this year. Put Kessel alongside Kadri and he probably would have potted at least a couple by now. Phil does need a play-maker to help him out. He's not physical enough of a scorer where he can just do it by himself at anytime.

Does anyone think Kulemin might have some of the fastest first 3 strides in the league? Seriously, from a standstill/glide, he accelerates stupidly fast. He is beastly skater.

If they don't shift him up to first line centre at some point, they should at least give him more ice time.

PPG pace, and he's still only playing 13-14 minutes a game.

He's got to be up there.

His skating looks really awkward but it's just because he gets his entire body into his strides. The guy goes 100% every shift; reminding us why we all loved him two seasons ago.

His goal tonight was ALL him. Kostka's shot gets covered easily had it not been for Kuli screening the goalie at the perfect time. Then that second effort to put 'er in. Beauty. Love seeing that.

Just noticed that Komarov hasn't taken a single penalty all year.

That's pretty amazing to play his game and not take even ONE so far.

The more ex marlies the Leafs call up, the better this team plays.

That goal tonight was something he would have scored in 2010-2011. Man if Kulemin and Reimer can both bounceback from bad years this is great.

Kulemin has played pretty well this year. Good for him to get that greasy goal. Well deserved.

Say what you will but JFJ's fingerprints are all over this team right now, and not in a bad way.

My mistake, for some reason I thought I remembered my easton being 120 and not being all that stiff. Not sure why. Have the numbers changed or am I just losing my mind?
