Semin, J Staal and E Staal are all historically Sens killers. This team is not going to be fun to play this year. Looking forward to watching Justin Faulk play though. He's so damn good.

I don't mind Turris but Latendresse has been an absolute cancer to Silf's development. The thing is I don't want Latendresse demoted to the Neil or Regin line because they're playing very well together as it is.

They played Anderson on a back to back night, now he's had a day rest. Might be Anderson again but then how do you showcase Bishop at all?

Yeah, I think Bishop gets another chance to showcase himself. Andy starts in Montreal on Sunday.

The season is about to get difficult so this one is going to be needed to pad ourselves.

According to my source over in the Canes HF Section, Karlsson and Ziba had dinner together last night. Queue must be love.

They were both pretty cool though, much nicer than the Hurricanes players I've encountered at work. Seemed like they'd be fun to have a beer or four with.
Edit: Apparently it was Moes. I cant recall if we have that up in Ottawa (been awhile) but its a cheap mexican joint with awesome chips!

This team gets beat by fast skating and skilled teams. This is the games where Karlsson steps up. Top line must take advantage and hammer them, we'l be just fine if we do.

Hopefully Andy gets the start. Canes' have some underrated offensive pieces.

Also, first in the Eastern Conference as of now!

quick question for my fantasy team. Do you guys expect Silvferberg's production to take off any time soon? I need an RW and can't decide whether I want to gamble on him or not.

Ehhh. Depends on how he clicks with his center. He was with Spezza but now maybe he will link up with Zibanejad. I would give him 3-4 more games in terms of Fantasy speak.

I expect it will sometime fairly soon. I'm just not sure if it will be this week or three weeks from now. He is getting more comfortable with the puck and is starting to create chances for himself and others. His biggest problem so far offensively is his shots aren't getting to the net, it's something he will get better at as he adjusts.

lantendresse....do something!

I hope it is him getting back in shape/form/confidence but my guts are telling me his time has passed.

Looks like Kovalev without the stickhandling and Cheechoo without the...uhhh...cool name.

and.....

(tre flip down three set for those who don't know)

14 internet points for naming the skater. (hint: now a popular actor)

I might have missed something since I can't see the GDT pics at work, but Corvo still plays for the Canes, albeit in a very small role. Watch out!

So the Sens played back to back games Tuesday-Wednesday while the Canes haven't played since hosting the Bruins on Monday. How the hell does that work? Expect a parade to the penalty box for the weary Sens.

Play Bishop and just get this game over with.
