Our coach? Nuge had the goalie at his mercy he just shot it wide. How is it Krugers fault that RNH shot it wide?

Sharks, kinda like the Oilers, need 3rd & 4th line scoring.

Still they must be one of the deepest teams in the league and you can tell Thornton's on a mission.

Good PK tonight. Good game for us facing the top team in the league right now, I can't complain about coming out of that one with 1 point.

Huge boneheaded play by Ralph picking RNH.

If your team scores 2/3, they're likely winning the shootout.

You're leading off with Taylor Hall? You're... kidding, right?

Gagner and Hemsky are NOT in your top three?

Oilers are tied for the lead in the NW with Minnesota right now.

Identical records.

my god people are overreacting to the loss. Nuge and Gagner are still great shootout choices. It's not like he sent out Hordichuk

I'd have Hall after Sam, Eberle, Hemsky, Schultz, Horcoff.

There is no chance the Oiler teams of the past 5 years get a point in this game. Gutsy effort. This team is showing that they can stick around in games with the best of teams.

When your playing for a point you send out your best shooters.RNH had no business being out there.

Surprised with RNH being in the shoot-out, very surprised that this team gained a point out of this game on a back to back especially after being down 2-0.

Why? The Sharks have a damn good team and play a fun style of hockey plus they have a good, reasonable fanbase on HF, i don't understand the vitrol towards them.

Gagner would have been my fourth choice, and Hemsky misses a lot more than what he scores.

Gagner Hemsky and Eberle are our best shooters, Hall doesn't do too well in the shootouts. Also remember that Kreuger isn't in charge of selecting the shooters, I believe it was Chabots call and he decides based on goalies. Hopkins clearly beat Niemi, but missed the net.

I dunno man, in shootouts I always think its easier to shoot 3rd. It gives you 2 looks at the goalie to find a hole. Its like when your on deck you get your timing for the pitchers release and speed.

Can we safely say not the same team as the last 2-3 years?

Also special props to Anton Lander.

My prediction was Gagner Hemsky Eberle as the shooters.

I can't help but feel that the team is in decent shape offensively when we're complaining about RNH being a shooter though.

I'm happy with the overall effort tonight. The Oilers went toe to toe with the best in the league playing their 3rd game in 4 nights. Dubnyk has arrived.

Have to say, outside of the Oilers I think I am cheering for the Sharks the most to win the cup. I would love to see Marleau and Thornton lift the cup. I really like this Sharks team, exciting hockey and the top two lines play like a well greased machine.
