Never said I liked Alex Smith.... really don't care for any free agent QBs other than Vick truthfully.... also don't want the Bills to pick up a QB at 8.

1. Trade down for extra picks
2. Pick Milliner or a LB

Those are the two I'd like to see the Bills do in that order. Pick best QB available in the 2nd.

And damn terrible for the team. Those aren't home games. They were rarely even "neutral" games. It's a crock that they "Need" that income at all. I get that it was pretty inevitable that the deal would be renewed but I held out just a little hope they would nix the stupid thing and give us back our 8th home game.

Of course they renewed it, it makes perfect business sense for the Bills to do that. If giving away one game a year allows the Bills to spend as much as the other big market teams, then so be it.

What? Take a divisional game away every year? Do you even think about some of the things you say? (unless I missed some )

Yep, a necessary evil. While it appears to be a drag to the average fan, the agreement has made gains off the field. I think it would be cool if HSBC got a Raptors regular season game.

Pretty sure that was stated on here before and even by the team and Whaley was taking over after the draft.

Those 2 teams stink. I wouldn't be too ******** if they did that, just not against NE.

The team never came out and said it, but it's been implied by all the media types that they are expecting that transition. Then again, Buffalo sports media sucks...so who knows.

I'm all for that... Assuming there's a team that aggressively wants in at the 8th slot. But no less than a first and a 2nd (&3rd if they're not top 20).

Sign Smith or Vick (cut fitz)
Or sign Kolb & let him/fitz battle it out.

No need to be reaching for a QB, rather grab a project in the later rounds while working with one of those 3 vets for now.

Smith could very well be a gem, guy was playing amazing this year, & this situation is bound to make him even more determined.

No ****ing way, to the bolded.

As for the underlined, I would certainly take Smith over Fitz but he was also playing with the second or third best defense in the NFL. He could afford to manage games and just feed Gore (to say nothng of Vernon Davis). Unless our defense makes some huge turnaround, he'd be forced into a lot ****tier situations in Buffalo than in San Fran.

Good for the Bills if KC picks him up. Only QB I want from free agency is Vick (as a bridge).... that is it... but in order Vick > Smith > Kolb > Flynn

One more love tap to the helmet and Vick will probably die on the field. I wouldn't touch him with a 40 ft pole, unless I still had Fitz to back him up (and I doubt both would be on the roster, not with their contracts) or a more-or-less NFL ready rookie - which is really just stupid because in that scenario, just keep Fitz and make him fight against the rook.

So, no. Vick would be an abysmal signing
