I'm not happy to see knuble in the line up at all. He really hasn't looked NHL worthy out there.

Nope you're right. Talbot got so lucky last year in terms of scoring.

Eh, one thing you could always count on was Knuble winning board battles. It seems that he can't even get that done anymore. I think we're starting to see why he went unsigned early in the season. I would still gladly eat my words if he comes out pissed off tomorrow night and nets a couple.

At least Talbot can skate. Knuble looks old, slow, and really not that great at winning battles so far....we knew Talbot was a 4th liner energy guy and that's what he's played like IMO. Compared to last year he's sucked but I think he hasn't been that bad defensively.

Didn't they sign Knuble to fill in (as much as possible) for Hartnell? That's what I assumed the second I heard about it. More of a temporary system band-aid than any real attempt to improve the team. Someone's gotta stand around in front of the net and whack at rebounds. Almost as valuable just to not break practice routines as in actual games.

You'll be sad for all of 5 minutes. Then the game will start and you'll get to witness another terrible Flyers first period and you'll be laughing to yourself thinking "Thank god I didn't waste good money going to see this garbage."

I was surprised that they got up for the Panthers game. Just didn't see it coming.

I called them getting up for the first Rags game.

I'm calling them getting up for this one too. Not sure why, but I think this will be a much more exciting effort than most people are guessing. From both teams.

AO always brings out the best in Coburn and L. Schenn so I'm looking for monster a game from the two of them. Unfortunately scoring is their main problem as of late.

The Caps will come out hunger being as though they just lost to the Leafs. If they can weather the storm they should have the advantage late in the game having a couple days off. JVR has looked great for Toronto so far btw.

I usually get excited for Flyers games, knowing they play tomorrow makes myself aware that I might be sitting through 3 periods of depression.

Two struggling teams face each other so this is probably going to be ugly.

Who wants it more? Time for Giroux, Briere, Timonen, Coburn to set the tone!
Play like they have some balls at least....

Maybe but man, they looked awful against the Leafs. Toronto skated circles around them. At one point in the third period, they showed the shots. Something like 35-15 TML.

Yeah, shots finished 40 to 20 something I think. But I don't see the flyers skating circles around anyone right now. Hopefully the practice helped and they play well but right now I'm not very optimistic. With thy said I'm still gonna call a Flyers win tonight
