No kidding. How Subban has earned the ire of many throughout the NHL over a whiner and dirty player like him, I'll never know. I remember him nearly killing Salo by lowbridging him, and he has the audacity to say that he was 'defending' himself.

I was watching the highlights from 2010 playoffs in game 7 against the Caps, that first goal we got on the PP when Gomez set up Bergeron, that play was amazing, how he repositioned himself by moving back with the puck to make a perfect pass.

Where's the NESN version of the Scott-Thornton fight? I could only find the MSG video. Was Jack Edwards whining about something as usual?

taht's false.

Most of Gauthier's deals involved getting bigger players. The players he added are bigger than what MB brought in(Prust Armstrong Bouillon .

Eller Bourque Schultz Cole Tinordi Beaulieu Geoffrion Staubitz were brought in by Gauthier in a 16 month period while he was GM.

Something about any bruin fighting Scott is a waste of time leading them to sitting for 5 minutes in the box. bad trade off. Like if Thornton is an important piece to the bruins

Edwards is such a tool and needs to whiten his teeth

Some of the players he got were big and he tried hard I honestly admit it despite being a big Gauthier hater, but then as Therrien would say he got the sofffffff defenseman in the NHL in Kaberle so figure that one out!

He got Kaberle for a guy no longer in the NHL in Spacek so it cost nothing.

It cost 4.25 in cap space and possibly a pick last year at the deadline if we would have traded Spacek.

We still have to endure Kaberle for another year and a half and 99.9% is looking like he will be bought out so don't say it didn't cost anything

Yeah because teams would have given the Habs a pick but not Carolina?

They tried to trade him and found no takers.

Did you even bother watching the game? To slow down the Leafs speed, the Caps kept on doing little hooks all night. The Refs were not allowing it from the very start. When the Leafs played the Habs, the Habs did it right and kept the speed on the outside for the most part.

The Caps are a hideously flawed team

Thornton suffered a concussion on the play, and is out for at least a week. Chara should have stepped up and fought Scott. I really want to see Scott kill Chara....

Why do you continue to stick up for Kaberle? Any objective observer sees that he is an absolute detriment to this team.

His isn't good on the PP anymore and his defensive play is poorer than ever.
